Kiba's pov|
I enter my house, Akamaru behind me, "Mom!!"
"Welcome home, Kiba. I've just been informed about the sand shinobi. Now, be nice when he arrives! I know how you are!" Tsume lecters
"But mom! How can I? He tried to kill me and my friends!" I argue
"It was his orders! He's still a kid like you, so please try to understand," Tsume responds
"O-okay..."
"Bark..."
"Now please clean your room before he arrives. He's going to be our guest so we can't make him sleep in the living room, can we?" Tsume explains
"But-"
"No buts! Hurry and go clean!" Tsume lectures
Akamaru and I walk to my room, looking at the floor.
"Bark bark..." Akamaru whines
"I know buddy, we almost died because of them... But it'll be okay!" I say as I sit down and pet Akamaru
Akamaru wags his tail and jumps on me, licking my face, "Akamaru, stop it, that tickles! We have to clean my room" I laugh as I pick him up and set him on the floor.
Kankuro's pov|
"I can't believe we are all going to be separated... Think its a safety procaution..?" I ask annoyed
"Maybe..but I don't like the fact that I have to room with a boy..a lazy one at that.." Temari complains
"I doubt that, that boy will do anything, Temari..plus you're not even that cute so I don't know why he would do anything.." Gaara taunted
"💢You're going to regret saying that later!!💢" Temari yells
*💥*
"Ow!!!! Why did you hit me?! I didn't say anything!!!" I yell, rubbing my head
"Because I can't hit, Gaara, obviously!!" Temari argued
"What does that have to do with anything?!" I shouted
Kiba's pov|
'First mom wants me to clean my room, now she wants me to get groceries! What's next??' I complained
"What's that yelling?" I wonder, looking at Akamaru
"Bark bark!" Akamaru responds
I walk closer to the sound and peek around a corner of a building and see a blonde girl yelling at a guy with brown hair while a red haired guy just stands on the side.
'I regonize them..they tried to kill me and Akamaru!! They're the sand shinobi!!'
"Bark bark bark!!" Akamaru yells
"Shh, be quiet, Akamaru!" I try to quiet him down
The arguing seemed to stop which means they probably heard Akamaru! Footsteps can be heard coming slowly toward our direction.
I pick up, Akamaru and run toward the shopping center and finally stop once I got away.
"Why did you bark? Normally you'd never do that.. Did you smell something?" I ask Akamaru
No response
'That's strange..Akamaru always answers me..What's going on? He's not scared, I can see that but then why is he not answering me?'
Kankuro's pov|
Temari and I kept arguing when suddenly we heard barking
'A dog..? Is someone spying on us?'
I look at Temari and Gaara and nod as I start to walk towards the sound, with them behind me.
I turn the corner quickly but only see brown hair and a small dog off in the distance before they quickly disappear.
'Who was that..?'
"Did you see anyone?" Temari asks
"Uh, no.." I lie
'Why am I lying? It's not like it matters either way.. Whatever'
~time skip~
Kiba's pov|
"When will that shinobi get here anyways..?" I ask mom
"Any minute now, why do you ask?" She responds
"No reason..well I'm going to go bathe Akamaru, bye!" I walk to the bathroom and start filling up the tub.
*knock knock*
Tsume opens the door and welcomes an unfamiliar voice, "Welcome! We've been expecting you! Kiba, our guest is here! Come greet him!"
"I told you I'm bathing, Akamaru! Can you wait a few minutes?" I reply
'I don't want to see the shinobi anyway....'
"Bark bark!" Akamaru whines, trying to get out of the bathtub
"I'm sorry, Kankuro was it? My son is in the bathroom bathing his dog at the moment, follow me please." Tsume explains, walking toward the bathroom
"It's alright, ma'am." Kankuro replys, following her
Tsume opens the door quickly, and reveals me soaking wet from Akamaru refusing to stay in the bathtub
"Mom, I told you I'm bathing, Akamaru! I'll greet him later!" I say not even glancing at the shinobi
"No, that's rude! Look, I brought him here so greet him while I get dinner ready!" Tsume lecters, going to the kitchen
I sigh and roll my eyes, 'I don't understand her sometimes..'
Akamaru starts barking like crazy again, "Wow, Akamaru what has gotten into you? You were like earlier to!"
Akamaru jumps out of the bathtub, splashing me in the process, "No, come back! We're not done yet!"
Kankuro makes chalkra strings and connects them to Akamaru, stopping him from running.
I turn around and look at Kankuro and realize it was the same person from earlier.."uh..t-thanks!"
"You're welcome," He replies
'He's actually kinda cute...but his purple makeup is weird'
"Bark bark bark!!! Bark!" Akamaru yelled
"What has gotten into you..you haven't done this before.." I wonder, as I go to Akamaru and pick him up, placing him back in the bathtub
"Kankuro! I set up your room for tonight! Please set your belongings in here!" Tsume anounces
Kankuro leaves and Akamaru stops barking..
'What the hell? Is Akamaru barking at him..? But why? It would sorta make sense though because he started barking when I was spying and he barked just now too...' I wonder as I finish cleaning him up
