I know you know that you messed up
I see it in your eyes.
I know you want to start over
But sorry can't change time.
It's hard for me to be mad at you
I don't want to be
It's hard for me to be mad at you
Because it's part of me.
I just want to be your friend again,
But there's some shit I can't forget.

NOTE: Straight sex ahead in this chapter. I'm so sorry to my fellow queers but there's a reason as to why I had to include it in this book. Every chapter is a development of another. Happy reading!❤️

Saturday morning, I packed a few clothes that I was going use at Lindsey's house, since I had promised her that I'd sleep over. I snatched my car keys that were lingering on top of my dressing mirror table, and got out of my room.

I headed downstairs and smelled the beautiful aroma of pancakes before my other senses registered their presence in the kitchen. The homey smell of frying butter reached my nostrils and assaulted my brain with mouth watery images.

I smiled when I saw my mum frying the pancakes. I had to admit, she's a great cook. She hadn't noticed my presence in the kitchen, probably because, she was quite concentrated on what she was doing.

I guessed she was preparing breakfast for herself and Jerry, since I wasn't going to join them. From the other night I found them smooching in the kitchen, Jerry had been staying over. May be, he was trying to bond his relationship with mum before their wedding....who knew.

It pondered my brain, but I couldn't do anything about it. Besides, this wasn't my house, it was mum's. She had the right to decide who to stay in and who to get out.

"I'll be sleeping over at Lindsey's." I spoke making her stop what she was doing, and face me. She was quite startled when I spoke. I knew she didn't expect anyone to be in the kitchen, besides herself.

"Won't you have some breakfast before you leave?" She asked.

"No...it's cool. I'll eat at Lindsey's, because she already ordered pizza." I replied trying to find my way out the door.

"Xhey....wait." She stopped me.  I turned around to face her.

"Come here."

I walked back next to her, wondering what she wanted.. She gave me a tight hug and I was surprised. Why was she hugging me?

"I love you sweetie, ok....Everything I do and every decision I make is just because of you. I want you to be happy." With that, she pulled out a wide smile for me.

I returned one back, when we were both interrupted by Jerry's small cough. He was standing next to the door, still quite sleepy. Looked like he hadn't gotten enough sleep.

I rolled my eyes when I saw him. I didn't know why I felt disgusted. "I think I should leave." I sighed giving mum one more hug and headed out of the kitchen.

"Where's she going?" I heard Jerry questioning my mum as I left

"Oh, Xhey? To Lindsey's house."

"And who's Lindsey?" A yawn escaped out of his mouth.

"Her best friend.... Here, I made some pancakes for you." Mum changed the subject.

I rolled my eyes once more and closed the front door behind me. I opened my car, started off the engine and headed  to Lindsey's house.

So me and Yosef had been close lately for the past two weeks. We got to hang out and know each other. He was so nice to me. He chuckled at all my jokes, even when they were lame. I decided to get close to him so that I could stop questioning my sexuality. We even had a sleepover one Friday night and I couldn't stop thinking of how romantic he was. I just wondered why he never asked me out.
