The six walked down the hallway, arms wrapped around their new significant other. Originally, they thought they would be relieved that detention would finally be over, but in actuality, they were a bit sad that it all had to end. However, each of them found comfort in getting to see each other on Monday again. "Hey, Ash?" Allison got her attention. "Yeah?" "I know it's kinda late to warn you about anything, but, won't your dad kill you when he sees you wearing all that makeup?" "At this point, I don't even care anymore. If he doesn't like it, well, that's his problem." "If he doesn't support it, are you gonna run away from home like Allison?" Bender asked. "Is that even a question?" Ashley answered. "Look, if you two are thinkin' about running away, I'm coming with ya'." "I'll keep that in mind," Allison said, making the two laugh.

They continued to walk down the halls, running into Carl on the way. "See ya', Brian," Carl said, actually seeming pretty happy for once. "Hey, Carl..." Brian said, sheepishly. "Me and Ash will see you next Saturday!" Ashley laughed. "You bet!" Carl said before they all left the building.

Brian walked up to his father's car when he felt a tap on his shoulder, making him turn around. Claire stood before him, her skin shining in the sunlight. She grabbed his hand and gently opened it, placing her diamond earring in his palm before kissing him and running off.

Andrew ran his fingers through Allison's hair and tenderly placed a kiss on her lips. After he pulled away, she ripped a patch off his jacket and got into her car, sporting a smile for the first time in three years. That's my girl. He thought before getting into his father's truck.

Bender and Ashley stood two feet away from each other, her father's car parked right behind her. She took off the feather boa she always wore to school and gave it to him, kissing him passionately. She got into her father's car and gave one request before they drove away. "Don't you forget about me." Bender, wanting to never forget about her, placed the feather boa around his neck. "I won't forget about you, Ashley."

Vernon walked into the empty library and sighed to himself, seeing that only one person wrote the essay. He unfolded the paper with care and read something that he thought he'd never read, something that changed his view on the children altogether. It read:

"Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you wanna see us...in the simplest terms, the most convenient definitions. But what we found out, is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket-case, a princess, a pretty boy, and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, The Breakfast Club."
