It's been two months. Two very long months.

(A/n: time J U M P)

The weather outside is cold... it's frightful. Lakes and puddles are freezing over. Stores are bringing out their Christmas decorations, switching out their candies for the holiday themed ones, bringing out the 'ugly' sweaters, which I tend to glance at whenever I walk by them.

Neighbors are covering every inch of their house with lights and many decorations. Weathermen talk about possible snow storms or flurries.

Kids participate in school plays, dressed up as mini elves or gingerbread cookies... for whatever reason. Warmer clothes are brought out from the depths of closets. Candy canes are in the mouths of others, some just eating them like normal while some just create weapons of evil.

Couples stand under a mistletoe, sharing a sweet kiss that warms them up and makes their toes curl with happiness and excitement.

Family members fly into town to visit their loved ones. Kids eagerly await the morning they get to tear into wrapped boxes dedicated just to them. Snowball fights between friends, lovers, or just family's... can be deadly.

If you haven't caught on yet, it's December. The month with Christmas and Hanukkah.

It's ho ho season, y'know?

Mom, Grandpa and I don't celebrate. It's just something we haven't done in years. Mom says we stopped celebrating because Grandma passed away during this time, and Grandpa's never been able to celebrate it the same.

It's totally fine with me. I don't feel too stressed to buy presents for everybody. And everybody means my family, Toryn and his family, and the club.

This year has the addition of Ryan, Rory, Zoe and Nemo. And Leigh-Anne. And Nemo's mom.

So... a lot of people.

Of course, I'm going to feel bad, so during this time of the year, I like to bring extra treats. And when I mean extra, I mean extra. I like to go fancy with them. It's the least I could do.

Like today, I made these chocolate chip cookie sandwiches that not only have frosting on the top, but in the middle. I might've overfilled the middle with frosting, but Toryn was in heaven when I let him sample one this morning. And for the kids that don't like frosting, I made a separate batch of regular cookies.

I offered one of the cookie sandwiches to Nemo when he picked me up this morning but he declined. He said that it had 'too much frosting and looks way too sweet'. Like, okay buddy. Your loss.

It's fourth period, and Ms. Rhye's class is almost over so we're all just sort of chilling. There's only this last week left until winter break, and Ms. Rhye hasn't really been assigning things.

She gave us this assignment where we had to watch a video of dogs talking. Very educational.

Toryn is wearing candy cane pajama bottoms, and a black hoodie. His feet are in the most cutest bunny slippers I have ever seen. A tuff of hair pokes out from underneath the Santa hat he's wearing.

Let's just say Toryn is a big Christmas guy. His outfits almost always have something related to Christmas, and today is candy canes.

My attire today consists of black boots, black leggings, a white beanie with a pompom on top, and a big white sweater with extreme fluff on the inside. I found it at the thrift store for only five dollars. Five dollars!
