|30: Definitely not like the movies|
Nemo's lips are soft, gently pressed against my slightly trembling ones. The tip of his nose brushes against my cheek. My face is tickled by the few strands of hair falling from his bun.
Much to my dismay, Nemo pulls away but he rests his forehead against mine.
The pounding of my heart can't even compare to the thundering feeling in my stomach. The shakes in my body are slowly becoming still as I stare up into Nemo's eyes. That sweet kiss warms everything inside of me. Slowly, my toes curl with happiness and excitement.
There wasn't any crazy sparks... it was more like... a delicate tingle. A comfortable tingle. A tingle that slowly made its way through my body, making all inside feel relaxed and... safe.
Uncontrollably, I grin as I bite my lip and start letting out a small giGGlInG noise. Fluttering open my eyes, I see that Nemo was starting to smile at my laughter.
"Um... heh..." I chuckle with a flustered smile, "That... happened,"
"It did," Nemo responds and lifts his head from mine, "And it was fucking amazing,"
"Um... y... yeah," I stutter with warm cheeks.
Nemo grins lazily before laughing.
He releases my wrists as he rolls off of me and onto the ground, lying on his back. Nemo kicks his legs into the air and places his hands on his stomach, laughing even harder.
His laughter sounds much more... free and untamed. The sounds are coming from deep inside of him. It's sound real. Like he isn't afraid to hold it back anymore.
I prop myself up on my arms, watching Nemo laugh his ass off.
"What's so funny, Nemo?" I mumble shyly while trying to not join in on his contagious laughter.
Nemo settles down his laughter and lets his legs fall, "Ada..."
"What?"
Nemo lazily turns his head towards me, smirking. The light behind him makes it look like he's glowing and it's... beautiful.
He rolls his body closer to me, placing his arms besides my crossed legs and putting his face directly in front of mine.
"Would you like me to kiss you again?" he murmurs, smiling at me in a teasing way. The deepness of his voice makes me shudder.
I draw a breath in sharply and lean my head back slightly, "Um, no,"
Nemo's smirk falls and his eyes become more round, like he's genuinely surprised. I'm surprised myself.
It's not that I don't want to... kiss again but... I don't want him to do it.
I want to do it.
"Nemo... I meant 'no' as in..." I begin to speak to which he looks at me curiously, so I lower my gaze shyly, "I... want to smooch you..."
At Nemo's silence, my gut feels like it's being punched.
Oh no... silence can't be good, right? Aw man... have I messed up already? I should've kept my mouth shut. Gosh this is one of my fears, just ruining something before it even got to start. Way to go me, you just-
"Sure," Nemo pipes up and shifts his body so that he's sitting directly in front of me with his legs crossed as well, our knees bumping into each other as he scoots closer.
I look at him with my lips parted in both relief and shock. At my expression, Nemo leans his head closer and raises his brows. Still frozen, I continue to stare at Nemo.
