Chapter 4: Derek's POV

We walked out of her trailer and went to go find everyone. We were all going out to dinner to celebrate an amazing season and to wish the finalists good luck. I was really proud of Mark, he made it to the finals which is huge.
We went to the car and drove to the restaurant, that was reserved for the cast. I was driving with one hand and held her hand with the other. When we got there, we walked in and forgot that no one knew about us.
Everyone saw our hands intertwined and seriously everyone smiled. Well, smirked. I did not see one upset face. Everyone screamed "Congratulations!" I guess Marl told them or something. Then, everyone came up to us one by one and most of them said "Finally!" I was so happy that everyone supported us. Everyone asked us when we were gonna make it public. We just said we wanted to wait since it only happened today.
We then say down and ordered dinner. Me and Beth were holding hands underneath the table. Make and Sadie looked at us, then at each other, then back at us and smirked. Me and Beth both rolled our eyes and laughed. We were all having an amazing time and I could tell Beth wasn't upset anymore about being eliminated. We just talked to each other and didn't have a worry in the world. I was talking to Mark when Alfonso stood up and clinked his glass.
"May I please have everyone's attention?" Everyone turned their attention to Alfonso. "I just wanted to thank all of you so much. I have been wanting to be on this show for ten years, and here I am, in the finals. You guys made this an experience I'll never forget. And Whitney, thanks for being the best little sister ever." He looked at Whitney and she smiled at them. Me and Beth thought they had the cutest brother-sister friendship. "And a big thing happened today!" Everyone looked at Beth and I and we both blushed. We all saw it coming. "Congratulations to the new happy couple!" Everyone started clapping and cheering and Beth and I mouthed "Thank you" to Alfonso. I kissed her forehead and her cheeks were fire truck red now.
Everyone finished their dinners and we said goodbye to each other, knowing we're gonna see everyone tomorrow. I drove Bethany home and walked her to her front door.
"I'm so proud of you B, never forget that."
She just hugged me, and kissed me goodnight. I whispered "Good night" and she walked into her house. I walked back to my car with a smile on my face.
