Chapter 7: Bethany's POV

I was still thinking about Derek when my phone snapped me out of my thoughts with a text from him.
D: You and Sadie want to meet at the lobby for a late night swim?
"Sadie, boys asked if we wanted to go for a late night swim."
"Sure!"
B: Sure, be down in 10
I got off the bed and went to my suitcase to get my bathing suit. I picked out my white triangle bikini with black bottoms. I went into the bathroom to get changed. I then threw my hair up in a messy bun and walked out. Sadie then went into change and I went onto twitter. I creeped on a couple fans for a few minutes when Sadie came out of the bathroom in a mint bandeau top with white bottoms. She had her hair in a braid.
"Ready to go?"
"Let's do thiss."
I got off the bed, grabbed my towel, put my flip flops on, and walked out the door with Sadie trailing behind. We went into the elevator and pressed the lobby button. The elevator music was again annoying us while Sadie and I were on our phones taking some silly selfies.
We then got to the lobby and walked out of the elevator to see the boys in nothing but their swim trunks. I have to say, Derek looked very attractive. I walked over to him, gave him a peck on the cheek, and held his hand and walked outside with Sadie and Mark trailing behind. We got out to the hot tub and we all went in. I didn't want to get my hair wet so it wouldn't be a frizzy mess tomorrow morning for "Good Morning America".
We then talked about our favorite memories of the season, random stuff, and more random stuff. It was a fun night and I got my mind off of Derek and I not seeing each other for a little bit.
"B, wanna come get some water with me?"
I looked at Derek and said "Sure."
We got out of the hot tub and walked inside, we didn't go to get water though.
"Look B, I wanted to talk to you about something."
"Ya?"
"Beth, we're not gonna see each other a lot after tomorrow with our hectic schedules. You have youtube stuff to do and I have to work on Nashville, I understand that. But, I'm not gonna give up what we have because of that. I love you too much to let you go. Just know, that no matter what, you will be the only girl I love, and I'm not gonna end what we have. Promise me, you won't forget about me, and we'll always have what we have together?"
I started tearing up, I didn't want this day to come so soon.
"Definitely. I don't know how we're gonna do it, but we will. I promise I won't forget about you D."
He then kissed me, and it was sweet and short, but very passionate. I'm gonna miss these lips so much. He pulled away, smiled and grabbed my hand, then we walked back outside to enjoy these last few moments together for a while.
