Chapter 8: Bethany's POV

When we went back outside we saw a sight we never thought we'd see. Sadie and Marks' lips were locked, not even noticing the door open. Me and Derek stared for a couple seconds, looked at each other and backed inside, closing the door in front of us. They still didn't notice. Me and Derek looks at each other, shocked looks on our faces.
"What the fuck did we just see..."
I shook my head, "I have no idea"
We went to sit down and actually get some drinks from the food area of the hotel. I got a strawberry banana smoothie and Derek got a Coke. We sat down and didn't talk for a couple seconds. I decided to break the silence.
"What do we do D, I mean Sadie has a boyfriend back home and, well never mind. We kinda ignored what I was gonna say too."
He chuckled, knowing I was talking about the 10 year age difference.
"I don't know, I think we shouldn't bring it up unless they do."
"Ok-"
I heard a beep and looked at my phone screen.

Sadie- Come to my room ASAP
Bethany- Be there ASAP

"Looks like I can say something" I showed Derek the text.
"Better go to her room, I got Mark."
We both got up and headed to the elevator. When we got to the floor where all of our rooms were, I gave Derek a "good luck" look and went to Sadie's room. I knocked on the door and heard a faint "come in".
I turned the door knob and went inside the room. I saw Sadie sitting on her bed staring at the floor.
"Beth, he kissed me. He kissed me. And, I like it. I felt something I never felt with Blake. I felt, a spark, a bigger one than with Blake."
I was speechless. I sat down on her bed next to her and whispered "Keep going."
She sighed and continued. "I don't know what to do. I'm loyal to Blake, I said it more than a million times. But if I tell him, it would be like dropping a bomb. Super destructive and nothing good comes out of it. What do I do Beth? I mean Mark is amazing but, who am I kidding he's 12 years older than me! That's illegal. Beth, help!"
"Sadie, first off, breath for Pete's sake!"
She let out a breath she didn't even know she was even holding in. I thought for a minute. What should she do?
"Sadie, did you feel love when Mark kissed you?"
"Beth, that's the worst part, yes."
