Chapter 1: Regrets

{This book will be focused solely on TXTZY but expect BangTwice appearances and references from the last book because this is still a sequel. Maybe even a bit 4th Gen cameos 👀

Umm this is a sequel from my last Zombie book so you should read that to get a better understanding for this one.

I haven't written a story focused around a group that isn't BTS or Twice in a while so idk how good this will be.

I also didn't think much about their ages in this so I don't really focus on it just know they're around high school age.

Don't expect a lot, it's hard to follow up such a good book 😢

"GET IN THE CAR!"

Ryujin and Beomgyu look at them confused but as Jimin yells again, they both comply. They leave Beomgyu's bike on the road as Mina told them to. The two sit in the back seat with Jeongin as Mina and Jimin are fiddling with their phones.

Mina makes a phone call and to no surprise, she can't get through. She curses and the three at the back start to get worried. Ryujin stays quiet as she just had a fight with Mina. Jeongin asks, "Mom? What's going on?" Mina looks back at the three but stays quiet.

She whispers to Jimin, "Let's go to the hotel." He nods and steps on the gas pedal. Beomgyu, Ryujin, and Jeongin are all sitting in the back curious. Ryujin sighs and looks out the window. She suddenly sees a woman on the ground being assaulted by a man. She looks up to Jimin and yells, "STOP!"

Jimin hits the brakes which causes everyone to jump a bit forward. He looks behind to see what's the problem with Ryujin. Ryujin points outside and says, "She needs our help." Jimin and Mina turns outside and glances at the poor victim.

Mina says, "No. Don't even think about going out. Ryujin, just trust us." Ryujin fights back, "Trust you? After keeping that big a secret from us." Jeongin stutters, "W-what secret?" Mina sighs and says, "Ryujin, I really am sorry but this is not the time for this. We have to-"

Ryujin opens the door and quickly runs towards the girl. Jimin and Mina yell, "RYUJIN! GET IN HERE!"

Ryujin quickly runs out to help the girl in need. As she nears the screams, she suddenly slows and her eyes widen. A pool of blood lies beneath the two and inhuman growls can be heard. Ryujin suddenly freezes as the beast turns to meet her eyes. White eyes, blood dripping from his mouth, and pale skin.

Mina notices Ryujin freezing and turns to the two boys in the back. She says commandingly, "Do not leave this car no matter what." Mina then opens the door and runs out without warning.

The zombie stands and turns to Ryujin who's frozen in fear. It suddenly charges her and she can't move or think.

"YAH!"

The zombie falls to the ground as it was just shot in the head. Ryujin turns to see Mina running with a pistol. Mina holds Ryujin by the side of her arms and says, "Why can't you just listen? This is bigger than us, now get in the car." Tens of growls catches their attention and the two girls turn to the right.

They see a group of zombies quickly run at them. Mina unloads the rest of the magazine on the horde but soon runs out of ammo. She grabs a hold of Ryujin and yells, "RUN!" The two quickly run for the car.

Ryujin still in shock as Mina takes lead. Ryujin couldn't believe any of this was happening. Zombies? She's heard the stories but she never imagined them to be so evil or scary. Lost in her thought, Ryujin messes up her footing and trips on the ground. Mina suddenly stops moving and helps her up.

The zombies soon catch up to them and Mina hits them with the lower part of the gun. They're only a few feet from the car but Ryujin can't move. She's suddenly in tears as Mina yells, "JIMIN GET RYUJIN!" The door opens and instead of Jimin running out, its Beomgyu.

Beomgyu quickly picks up Ryujin and runs towards the car. Mina tries to fend off the zombies to buy them time. Jimin quickly assists her by shooting all the zombies. After there were none left, Beomgyu places Ryujin inside and buckles her seatbelt. Jimin sits in the driver seat and waits for Mina to enter the car.

She stands outside the car frozen. Jimin says, "Mina, get in the car. They're gonna come soon." She meets his eyes with teary eyes as she glances at the zombie bite on her arm. Jimin curses and quickly grabs a lighter from the glove compartment. He runs to Mina's side and ignites the lighter as he whispers, "No, not again. I won't let them take you from me again."

Jimin places it on the wound and her heart, Mina starts to scream gently and her body starts to grow limp. Jeongin can only stare in horror as Mina screams from the flame of the fire. Beomgyu hugs Ryujin so she wouldn't see her mother yelling pain.

Once the scream stops, Jimin quickly carries Mina inside the car. He sighs and says, "We have to get to Jin's hotel." Ryujin stares at her mom who's barely conscious. She whispers, "I'm sorry."

But before anyone can hear her, they hear the roars of more zombies. Jimin curses, "Ryujin sweetie, cover your ears." Ryujin covers her ears but it's to no use as Jimin yells, "FUCK! WHY IS THIS FUCKING HAPPENING!"

Mina chuckles and says, "Hey, at least I'm awake this time." Jimin hisses, "Barely awake. I don't even know where the hell we are and how to get to Jin's hotel. This car can't run forever and I'm not in the fucking mood for an apocalypse."

Mina rolls her eyes, "When is anyone in the mood for an apocalypse?" Jeongin asks, "Umm, mom? Dad? What's going on?" Mina slowly turns back to see the three kids in horror. She sighs and says, "The zombie apocalypse." Jeongin lets out a nervous chuckle, "Hahaha, this is a joke? Right?"

Ryujin raises her voice, "How can this be a fucking joke? Look at mom! She has a bite mark on her arm!" Jimin hisses, "Language."

Ryujin replies in disbelief, "Language? That's what you're worried about right now?" Mina speaks up, "I get you're still mad at me but control yourself, please. Once, we're all in a safer location then we'll explain everything."

Ryujin looks at her parents to see them relatively calm. Well, Jimin is sweating bullets and Mina's eyes are barely open but they're no way near to the state of panic that the three are in the back.

Beomgyu slowly puts his hand over Ryujin's shoulder and says, "Your parents are pretty calm about this. We should trust them, right?" Ryujin huffs and says, "Still doesn't explain the zombies running around trying to kill us."
