Draco paced around his bedroom, scared to death that tonight he wouldn't be able to control it. The craving of the dark red liquid was all he could think about right now. He wanted to run right out of the door that was holding him in this cell, keeping him from making this party turn into a bloodbath.

The floor below Draco, held his newly found friend, y/n. They had met this year in school, which was weird since they have been going to the same high school for 4 years now.

Y/n was filling up a cup in the kitchen with some water for herself. She wasn't much of a drinker, actually she had never drank in her life. She had strict parents and was the goodie two-shoes.

Y/n walked into the living room seeing everyone dancing, she saw her classmates grinding up on each other which made her uncomfortable. So instead of watching everyone sweat, y/n turned down the hallway wandering around.

You see, it was Halloween. Every year, the richest kid in the school threw a big Halloween party to get wasted and let any worries fly away. Venus, y/n best friend convinced y/n to go especially since Draco would probably be there. She knew it wasn't a good idea but deep down she just wanted to have fun for herself for once. Plus with Venus bugging her to come join their other two friends, Ben and Sebastian, y/n couldn't deny. So the girls got dressed up, Venus being a 'sexy demon' and y/n being a bunny, not a sexy one, just a bunny.

When the party started, y/n saw everyone there except Draco. She saw him earlier. She got a little worried and decided to go look for him but Venus held onto y/n because "this was your night girl! Have a little fun!" says Venus. Venus was a great friend and knew y/n limits but all day Venus saw y/n's troubled face because of Draco and just wanted her to forget about it... but we all know that's just not how things go.

As y/n made her way to the stairs, she looked from the hallway to see if Draco was downstairs yet, seeing no blonde hair in sight, y/n went upstairs. She glanced down the hallway a little scared since the house they were in looked like a haunted one. The board's creaked, the banisters were loose, the cobwebs were visible in the top corners of the walls and not to mention it just smelt old.

Y/n cautiously walked to what she thought was a room. Maybe he was in there? As y/n walked in she saw Draco standing by the dresser swallowing down a small glass of whiskey. Draco didn't even have to turn around, he could hear the door opening, even if she didn't. He could hear her unsteady breathing and her beating heart. Draco knew it was her.

"Yes y/n?" Draco asked pouring another glass of whiskey.

Y/n wanted to say something but it felt like her throat was being held and she couldn't form words. Y/n swallowed and took a breath. "Why aren't you downstairs? I thought you went to parties?" Y/n asked fidgeting with her fingers.

Draco sipped down another shot and poured again. No answer.

"Draco? I don't think thats a healthy number to drink. That's a lot.." Y/n said, this time making Draco set the glass down and turned around.

"I'm too mature for this. I never liked parties, it just keeps me from being bored. Halloween is stupid anyways."

Y/n swallowed again this time making eye contact instead if looking down. "Well do you know what I am?" She said smiling trying to lighten the mood. Draco thought he could play with her, maybe it would distract himself in the process. "A dog?" Y/n frowned at him and crossed her arms. "No! Try again." Draco copying her gesture said, "How about a new species of dinosaur?" Y/n put her hands on her hips. "No Draco! Try again!" Draco laughed, "Okay how about a duck?" Draco smiled at her trying not to laugh at her. "I'm a bunny! Do you not see my ears?" Y/n pointed to her headband with her lips in a pout. Draco stared at them only to look back into y/n's eyes, "No." Y/n rolled her eyes and sat on the bed behind her.
