He seemed to take a moment to process everything before he launched into scolding me, "You realise this is the exact opposite of what I told you to do." His face set stone cold.

I took a little longer to register he was there, no processing thoughts for a comback. "What are you doing here?"

"In case of the worst circumstances, you had to leave. You need to go now." he told her.

"Im not going anywhere, this is my home." Something flickered in his eyes, "is something bad happening?" I demanded.

He looked at me, up and down, processing his thoughts. "Yes, hopefully dealt with soon enough it won't reach here."

Visit the North west green field

"You're taking me with you." I stated. Granted the prophecy might not have started yet, but this could lead to it. Maybe I won't have to get Percy involved. If he's the child of his own prophecy, maybe we can defeat Kronos by him making a decision not to wake up and follow me where I go. It's for his safety.

"No," He blandly stated. "I'm not here for you, you're not even meant to be here."

"I wasn't asking... what are you here for?"

"I'm meeting up with someone." His blue eyes shined in the night and I looked back up to Zeus's cabin.

I paused momentarily thinking if this could be true, "You're meeting up with Thalia." I almost felt breathless. "Oh my gods."

"Annie, neither of us want you involved with this. It's too much of a risk. Please." He took on a more pleading turn, but it wasn't going to work. "At least, go to bed and pretend you never saw me."

"What's the plan?"

He sighed, knowing I wasn't going to back down. "I've calculated this mess I've made for a long time. I've distanced my mind from Kronos's. I've manipulated his plans and ideologies so carefully, I've been able to get his army in a certain location, so we can finally throw them back to tartarus."

"We?"

"The huntresses are following." He walked away from the cabin, getting closer and closer into the darkness where he was barely visible.

"Hey," she slightly called out to not wake anyone.

In the distance an animal walked in the distance like a dog. But it's fur was luminous silver in the night. A wolf. Walking along someone like a loyal animal, Thalia strides towards Luke, like the regal huntress she aimed to show.

As I caught up I could hear her threatening him, "you go behind my back even a little bit and I'll stab an arrow through your eye, you'll get to enjoy another scar."

I could tell he was holding something back. "Got it, remember I want this just as much as you do."

Thalia looked to me, her feared exterior softening. "Annabeth," she strides towards me, embracing me tightly as I slightly thought about being accidentally poked in the eye by the bow strapped across her back.

"I'm coming with you," I told her.

Thalia looked sceptical but gave a breathy laugh, "Of course you are. Go pack your things."

"No, you'll leave as soon as I turn my back."

"No," Luke said further away behind Thalia, he looked at the two of them, something connecting in his features. "We'll wait."

I snorted, "leave and I'll track you both down."

"I swear on the river stitch." Thalia pledged not taking her sight off me. But I could tell by the way she was all stiff, she was ready to fight at the slightest twitch if Luke aimed to harm her.

I ran off sneaking into my cabin, stashing a bag full of clothes and some scrapped plans. Rechecking to make sure my note was in my jumper. Also shoving my secret stash of ambrosia in my bag.

When I quickly got out they waited near the burnt out fire pit. They didn't notice, if anything seemed to be deep in conversation. I kept myself silent, not knowing where the wolf was. Perhaps it was going back to the huntresses.

I heard the mentioning of using Greek Fire and lost focus snapping a stick. Both of them turning fast to face me.

Luke gave a devil smirk. "Trying to sneak around, Annie?"

Thalia looked nervous.

Greek Fire... How? Perfect for an attack. But, it's deadlier then what I expect them to use.

"Time to go," Thalia said calmly.

And we left off in the darkness. This feeling an odd sense of nostalgia with the three of us. As we got into a small red car Luke had brought along.

Luke drove, I sat beside him and Thalia sat behind him. I could imagine her using her bow string to strangle him from behind if he ticked off her temper even a little bit. I suppose that's how betrayal separates all of us.

We were quiet for a while. And I couldn't imagine going to sleep with adrenaline running through me at this moment.

I suppose I should feel scared, nervous. But this feels complete, like I'm going down the right path. Even with a prophecy looming over me that should symbolise doom. This, this feels right.
