~2nd person~
The flight wasn't that long, both you and your sister were excited. It was her first con, you had gone to a few but not one of the big ones. She was almost bouncing in her seat when you landed. You got up from the window seat and followed her out of the row and off the plane. You sent a text saying that You landed to your parents while waiting for your bags.
Standing next to you was a girl around your age, She was a little shorter then you and had dirty blond hair. She was very pretty, 'stop starring, you gay mess!' you thought to yourself. Finally you saw your bag and reached for it, her bag was next to yours. You accidentally bumped into each other,
"Sorry! I didn't see you!" She apologizes to you
"It's okay, You don't have to apologize! I'm the one who should apologize." You respond waving your arms around, you kind of felt like Deku from My Hero Academia, waving your arms like that.
She holds out her hand, "Hi, I'm Liz, sorry again."
"It's okay! And I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you." You say taking her hand. Then you grab your guy's bags and look back to Liz. "What are you doing in Maryland?" You ask making conversation.
"A couple of friends and I are going to Katsucon." She replies grabbing the rest of her bags, she had a lot, I wonder why, maybe after Katsucon She is staying with a friend.
"Really? I am as well." You say glad to know not your sister at the con, "We should meet up at the con!"
"That sounds great, can we exchange numbers?" Liz asks, pulling out her phone and unlocking it. You nod with a smile and pull out your phone. You type in the number and put the name as: Liz (from the airport).
"I have to go meet up with a friend but text me later so we can meet up!" She says and she walks away with a wave.
"Bye! Text you later!" You say as you walk away looking for Your sister. You found her and handed her bags to her. "Here you go, lazy." You say as she gets up and takes them.
"Hey! I'm tired Sis!" Shes in a whiny tone with puppy eyes.
"Come on, we need to get to the resort and check in." You say with a chuckle and walk off to the exit.
*Time skip*
You arrive at the resort; 'It's huge!' you think to yourself. Lilly walks over to the desk and you walk with her.
"Here for Katsucon?" the Man behind the desk asks us, looking at the computer.
"Yes, (L/N)?" you say with a smile.
"Here is your key, enjoy the con!" He says cheerfully, and hands us the key. You walk to the room and open the door. It had two beds, a bathroom,a desk, a chair and a window. Lilly runs and jumps on the bed closet to you.
"Its so soft! You should try this out!" She says closing her eyes.
"Okay." You say with a giggle as you set your bags, run and jump on the bed.You land next to her with your legs on hers; You roll over to give her space and burst into laughter.
"Ugh, why! You have betrayed me! Also what have you been eating, You're so heavy!" She complains and grumbles. You smack her lightly for the last comment and get up.
"Oh, get over it!" You say; walking over to your bags. You pick them up and take them over to the bed next to the window. Looking at the other bed you see Lilly unpacking somethings.
"What is that?" You ask, looking at the bag.
"My cosplay stuff!" Lilly says, holding up some costumes. "I know that you have never been into cosplay but I wanted to try it."
"Oh, that explains why it was so heavy." You grumble, and pick up your phone and scroll through Instagram. Then you remember Liz, 'I should text her' you think and go to her contact and type out a message
Hey, this is (Y/N), from the airport-
Liz (from the airport)-Hey, how are you?
Good, we just got to our hotel room, how are you?-
Liz (from the airport)-I'm doing good. We got here a little while ago, time for the time crunch before con!
What do you have left to do?-
Liz (from the airport)-Me and a couple of friends have to touch up a few of our cosplays
I didn't know you were a cosplayer! My sister is cosplaying but it is her first year!-
Liz ( from the airport)-Really? I can give her tips when we meet up!
Speaking of meeting up, when do you want to?
How about 1, in the vender's hall?-
Liz (from the airport)- That sounds good, I have to go, goodnight (Y/N)
Ok! Goodnight Liz!-
You change the contact to: Liz and shut off your phone. You look over at your sister she is passed out on the bed. You change and go to bed yourself. 'I wonder what will happen' you think as you drift off to sleep
