"My name is Victoria Winters. It is my belief, as I've addressed before, the growing unease as I continue my job as Governess of Collinwood Manor. That the dark shadows of the strange house near Widow's Hill; that, in the fear that grows inside, isn't something that I, nor Elizabeth Collins Stoddard; nor Roger Collins; nor David Collins, the boy who's own Mother died, and left him as psychotic as his father; that, in  turn, preyed on the daughter, Carolyn Stoddard; that, in the scheme of the whirlwind of icy despair, seeped into the dark shadows. I suffocated the acrid air, and consumed the people who lived inside, and outside. And of the desire, to follow my destiny. A destiny that, as I wanted to know, since I was made an orphan in New York. And, in closing of this last letter for now, sets the tone of the future events of the year that's unfolding. And the horror of the events of the past, present, and future, comes to my mind.

..."And that searching shall last until the truth of my birth, ends in time for the next stage of my story, as the cold wind blows once more in the Maine town of Collinsport...".
