„i cant remember someone who didnt know that i was gay at our school.
i never made a secret out of it, if that was a reason for people to judge me, i dont want them as friends.
there were some people that didnt find it okay and hated me but it was okay, i knew it would be like this when the fact that i am gay made its rounds.
but kihyun didnt know and that surprised me.
he was in some of my courses and was a very smart and nice person who never caused any trouble.
many people tried to date him because of his beautiful face and smile and his character.
but he never agreed to anybody.
so, on one day, we got put in a group together to do a presentation about love.
we havent been friends till then but we didnt hate each other, we were classmates that get along well, so i enjoyed working on that project with him, because he had really great ideas.
we decided to talk about same-sex-relationships because it was still not a thing that gets supported by everyone and many people still dont like it.
when we were about to finish the presentation i slept over at his house, to make sure that everything is perfect afterwards.
and while we were sitting next to each other, he told me that he was very surprised that i knew much about this type of love and everything that goes with it and asked me why.
i told him that i know this because of some friends and experiences i had.
as i said in the beginning, everybody knew i was the one student that is gay, but kihyun still didnt knew.
he asked me »who do you love?« and that confused me.
didnt he know that i was attracted to men?
»are you gay?« was the next question he asked because i didnt answered his first question and i just nodded.
then there was silence for a few moments.
then he told me that he was gay too. funny, isnt it?
after that evening, we somehow started to date each other, since we both knew for ourselves that we somehow were attracted to each other.
long story short, we ended up having a relationship which lasts five years until now."
kihyun entered the room when i finished to tell the story why we started dating.
he smiled at me. „you could have told it in a shorter version to make sure they wouldnt be annoyed by talking too much" he said as he sat down next to me.
jooheon who sat in front of us just laughed, looking at changkyun, his new boyfriend to ask if it annoyed him but it didnt.
jooheon knew everything already, since he was my best friend since i was born. changkyun wanted to know how we started dating after they told us how they started dating.

in the evening i was lying down in bed, waiting for kihyun to join me. jooheon and changkyun left a few hours ago.
„you cant tell our story often enough" he said while lying down next to me and i just smiled and shook my head.
„i just love you too much to ever stop telling this story" i said while pulling him closer and putting my arms around him.
he kissed me, mumbling a quiet „idiot" before.

so, uh, i just realized that this isnt the last oneshot for this book because i somehow forgot about middle of the night but that means there is only one song left 🥺
