since our relationship started, it was never a thing we needed to hide from changkyuns parents.
he came out just a few weeks before we became a couple and his parents supported him and were completely fine with it, so we didnt have the pressure of what would happen if we would get caught.
but for my parents, it was a completely different thing.
i knew they didnt like gay people, always bragged about them when they saw a gay couple in the streets or in a show or something.
that was the point why i decided to not come out, not telling them about changkyun and me and im glad changkyun understood me and didnt wanted me to tell my parents about us.
and then, after one year of successfully hiding, however we made it that long, it came out. of course it had to sooner or later but i wish it didnt happen.
it was spring, almost summer, and my parents made a weekend trip. changkyun stayed with me at my house.
on saturday evening, things started getting heated up, so we put the focus on ourselves and the other one only.
it feels kinda like a cliche looking back on how my parents caught us.
changkyuns shirt was already on the floor and we were kissing, not hearing how my parents came home.
not hearing how my mum came upstairs to tell my theyre back, not hearing how she opened the door. and then we heard her, screaming at us, just a few moments later my dad was also screaming at us.
theres a lot of other stuff that happened that evening and the following days, ending with packing my things and staying at changkyuns house for quite a long time.
time passed and we graduated.
my parents would have been proud to see me graduating with very good grades but they werent. they didnt show up, nothing.
but changkyuns parents were proud and they feet more like parents to me than my biological parents, because they allowed me to stay at their house.
and so we started going to the university, moving into our own small apartment because it was closer to the university.
there were still things at my parents house, so we drove there to get all the rest, not caring about what my parents wanted to say or do, just packing up the rest and leaving.
later that evening, everything hit me again, seeing what i lost that one evening but also how changkyun helped me to get through it.
and i never felt more happy and thankful to have him on my side and when i started crying that evening, he pulled me closer to him, putting his arms around my waist and keeping me close, i told him how thankful i am for him that he stayed with me all the time and never fails to make me happy and how much i love him.
„i will never leave you kihyun. listen, you are so beautiful and perfect, i could never think about leaving you. i love you so, so much, dont ever dare to think i will leave you, okay? no matter what happens, you got me, i will stay by your side."
