Ben: Palpatine.

[Palpatine cackled, and hearing his name, was enough to slump me down onto my knees.]

Palpatine: You see it now? Come home, and become the sith you were meant to be!

Ben: I won't let you take her.

Palpatine: Hah! What will you do boy?

[As he mocked him.]

Palpatine: The last Skywalker, weak just like your father-

Ben: He wasn't weak, he was strong.

[It was interesting to hear those words out of Ben instead of me, I guess I am getting through to him.]

Palpatine: Have you ever wondered why you were left on Jakku? Scavenger girl!

[As I held my hands over my ears.]

Palpatine: Because your parents were drunks, nobodies in the sandy dunes, so I killed them!

Ben: You're lying-

Palpatine: And I killed the rest of my children, as I shall do you and your rebellion!

[A shiver ran down my back because I knew it was true.]

Palpatine: You are nothing! And I can free you...

[He said outstretching his hand, as I rose up in spite of fear and said.]

Rey: You killed my parents, you murdered trillions of innocent lives...

[I said looking up at him, resisting the rage.]

Rey: But I will never become like you.

[As Ben took my hand in his own, we stared down Palpatine in the light.]

Palpatine: Oh sweet child, you already have.

Ben: I killed Snoke, and we'll kill you.

[Palpatine laughed big then, as his transmission started to cut out.]

Palpatine: We shall see.

[Once it stopped, I breathed again as the door slid back open.]

Finn: Ooh, that was awesome guys.

Rey: Finn?!

Finn: Not a lot of time to explain, but we're here to rescue you.

Ben: We?

[As Poe appeared too.]

Poe: Don't have a fit over it, let's go!

[As we ran down the hallway, Finn passed us our lightsabers, and we ignited them together.]

Poe: We received a transmission that Palpatine is back.

Rey: It's true.

Finn: So, what's the plan.

Ben: Stop him.

[Turning the corner, I covered Ben's back, as he did Poe's from a close shot.]

Poe: Thanks...

Ben: Don't act so surprised.

Rey: Do we have any way of reaching him yet?!

[We all dodged to the side, as a machine gun fired multiple rounds at us through the door.]

Finn: Nada, Ben do you know anything?

Poe: Oh, we're on a first-name basis now-

Ben: In the archives, there was a thing called the sith Wayfinder, that's how we find him.
