Naruto sat on his bed, crying his face into the night. He could hear the killing silence in his apartment deafening his ears. And the blinding darkness taking his soul into it. He could feel himself shivering against the cold loneliness of his. The muffled sounds of his sobs were his only companion in his lonely night. The only guardian he knew right know was sadness. The only friend he had right now was pain.

But all those depressing friends were nothing to the only friend he had lost, Itachi. Yes, Itachi.

A few hours earlier he had that heart breaking talk that he will probably never forget.

~Flash back~

"Naruto, what the heck is this supposed to mean?!" Yelled Itachi, his Sharingan glowing wildly. " If this has been going around for years, why haven't you said a thing about it? Why have you lied to me?!"

" Itachi, I swear I don't understand what you are talking about." Naruto said calmly yet nervously.

Itachi knew he was saying the truth though. After all, he doesn't remember what happened in his mind.

"I saw your memories." Itachi said more calmly this time. " I put you under a genjutsu and looked through your mind. apparently, they haven't stopped beating you like you told me. Naruto, why didn't you tell me about it? I thought you trusted me." At the last sentence there was a look of utter hurt in Itachi's eyes.

"I-I...of course I trust you. It's just that... Well...after you left the village and became a missing nin, a lot of things have changed. "

" Changed how? "

" Y-you see... I shouldn't tell you but since you already know everything I guess there's no point in hiding it anymore."

" tell me what are you hiding and shouldn't be telling me."

" A few years ago, when I was eight exactly, th-the villagers a-and some ninjas th-threatened me that if I... if I told anyone about wh-what they do, if I a-asked for help they might.. k-kill me."
Tears streamed down Naruto's face as he finished talking, fear latching onto his heart.

Itachi's eyes narrowed with the Sharingan. "So, I'm the reason of all your problems now. I guess there's no point of staying here."

Itachi then turned on his heel and jumbed off the Hokage monument going to the unknown future of his life.

A/n: so, yeah I know it took me longer to update, but I needed time to write this chapter as it was very hard to write and it was so heartbreaking. Anywho, I wanted to let you know that the story is taking more of a good epic turn the next chapter is gonna be so shocking and you'll understand what I mean when you read it but just give me time, k?
