While Naruto was crying he heard the creak of a branch behind him.

Naruto turned around, fear begining to build up in him. Then he saw the same man from earlier, Itachi, standing infront of him.

He's here again I'm so afraid. Thought the 4-year-old blond.

He was about to run when something grabbed his hand. It was not something it was someone.

Saying that Naruto was terrefied right now was an underestimation.

"Wait, please I'm not going hurt you."
Itachi said barley above a whisper. Even though Naruto was a 4-year-old, he had heard alot of lies like:

"Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you"

Or

"You are not a demon"

Or

"Come with me you'll be safe"

and they all had those kind,smiling faces. He had learned that not everyone that smiles at him is his friend. He had learned not to trust anyone except the third or "jiji".

"Liaw." said Naruto in his childish voice.

Itachi was stunned by this. He didn't expect this answer.

"I-I'm not lying. Why would I?" Asked Itachi. Naruto quickly grabbed his hand from Itachi. "Why would you be any tiffwent?" (Diffrent) asked Naruto emotionlessly.

"I..." Itachi did not know what to say. His heart ached at seeing a kid being broken at this young age. He suddenly had an idea and smiled at it.

"Well..." said the Uchiha "Try me." Naruto looked confused, his head tilted slightly to the left. "What to (do) you mean?" Asked the confused blond. Itachi chuckled "I mean give me a chance. See if you can trust me or not." Continued Itachi.

Kyuubi nii-san what should I do? Asked Naruto in his head. Well... I think you should give him a chance. Was Kyuubi answer.

"...I will twust you ton't (don't) make me wegwet this...." Said the small kid. Itachi smiled warmely and that's a thing that happenes once in a life time. "I promise you wont regret it."

Suddenly a loud growl was heard. Itachi chuckled softely "Are you hungry?" Naruto only looked away. Blushing slightly, he nodded.

"Okay then what do you want to it?" Asked the raven Uchiha.

Naruto seemed to be lost in thought. He didn't know what to eat. He only ate mildewed bread from the trash that villagers would throw away. Or if he is lucky jiji would take him to his house and make him eat something. That is why he was so thin and malnourished.

Kyuubi nii-chan I don't know what to do. No one has ever offered me to choose food.

....

Kyubii nii?...

....

"Hey kid, are you okay?" Itachi asked but he got no answer. Itachi was beginning to get worried. He really did care about the blonde infront of him.

He waved his hand infront of the kid's face but still got no responde. He shooke him lightly.

"Huh..."

"Did you doze off?" Itachi asked.
"Mhm..." Naruto answered nervously. "Okay, so where do you want to go?"

"I t-ton't k-know.".

The Uchiha chuckled lightly. "How aboute ramen? does that sound okay?" Naruto only nodded.

Itachi then picked Naruto up and made his way to Ichiraku's.When they got there Itachi ordered two chicken ramens.

When they got their orders Naruto only stared at the ramen cup infront of him. Itachi was a little bit confused. Why isn't he eating? But then it hit him. Naruto couldn't reach the ramen cup because it was too high for him. They were sitting at a bar table with chairs infront of it on the outside.

Itachi took the cup and put it in Naruto's hand. Naruto was about to drop the cup because it was too hot for him but Itachi caught it before it could fall.

Naruto looked at Itachi with a guilty look afraid that itachi would hit him. "I'm sowwy pwease ton't huwt me." The blond little kid said. Tears welled up in Naruto's eyes as others had already streamed down his whiskered tan cheek.

Itachi didn't know what to do so he did the only thing he could think of. He hugged the blond. At first Naruto flinshed at the contact but apperantly relaxed. Itachi listened silently to the sobbes of a broken heart at a lonely night. Trying repeatedly to warm the coldness within it.

A/N: so what do you think guys? If you liked it then please vote. BTW it's the first time I make a chapter on time and actually I think this chapter is full of fluff don't ya think too? The next chapter is gonna have lots of fluff too. AND this is not an ItaNaru I don't ship Naruto x Itachi. also he is not gonna be the only one caring for Naruto. I mean there's Kakashi too and Sasuke of course and all Konoha 12 (including team Gai) and team Garaa too. Anyway I don't have a particulare way to end up the story so please comment an end you think that is good. also this fanfic is gonna be full of fluff romance angest friendship suicide/?/!7?0 and depression. Though a part of me highly doupts that there is gonna be sasunaru anyway we'll see sorry for the long a/n c u .
