Once I made it to the dining room, I realized that there was no one there. There was food on the table but no people to eat it. "What's going on?" I mutter under my breath as I check the clock, 5:30. Once again, just as if someone is reading my mind, Mel steps into the room, giving off a radiant smile. "Hello dear. Please, sit. The card has your name on it." She said as she pointed to the chair at the front of the table. Examining my name, I slowly sat down at the mahogany table. "I do realize that you must be very confused. So, let me explain some things to you. At your first dinner here, you will be introduced to each of your housemates, one by one. After dinner is over, I will attend, and I will tell you all that you need to know about who you are. So, without further notice, please welcome your first guest, Ms. Haden Rose. " She walked out of the room, just as a young, fair teen my age walked in, sitting at the seat adjacent to mine.
"Hello, I'm Haden Rose, vampire." She says, giving off a comforting smile. I smile back, this is the first time I remember smiling genuinely since I've gotten here.
"Leda Mason, werewolf, nice to meet you."
