I sighed as I sat on the bench just outside the doors.
"For the hundredth time Ciel, you know I can't drop you off any later than 7. Otherwise how would I ever get to work on time? I wouldn't, that's how. And somebody has to pay the bills."
" But I already told you that I can work too an-"
"No, stop. I'm not having this conversation with you again. You are going to focus on getting that high school diploma and going to some fucking college and that is all you need to worry about. We're done here."
"Fine. I'll just walk."
I'm the biggest brat in the world, I know, but I'm seventeen years old for crying out loud. I'm the first one here and the last one to leave every damn day. Honestly, screw Alois and his stupid job.
I sigh once more as I take out the only book in my bag that might actually change my future, Twilight. I just can't get enough.
Just as I'm about to open up to my bookmark, I hear a car pull up to the student parking. Curious, since I'm usually the only one here for at least half an hour, I bring my beautiful head up and look.
And then I see him. Sebastian Michaelis, the school's most infamous playboy dressed in black from head to toe. The rumors surrounding that kid are endless. From drugs to sex on the roof, you name it. There's even one that says he got his homeroom teacher pregnant.
But rumors are just rumors.
I turn back to my book and try to start reading again. Five pages in and I start smelling something sweet? Wow, very sweet. But that has nothing to do with Jacob or Edward, so I carry on. That's until I hear the sound of jeans sliding against the smooth wood of these gross benches. He's sitting right next to me. Great. Because it's not like there are three other benches, completely unoccupied too.
I take a deep breath and draw my focus onto the text in front of me. Damn, this guy has got the good stuff, no wonder all the girls go crazy for him when he smells like a chocolate cake that went to heaven and came back pregnant. Woah. Hold on. What am I thinking, I don't even know this guy and now I'm comparing him to god's only gift to humanity.
I must be losing it.
My hand is seconds away from turning the page when I hear it again. Is he getting closer? No fucking way. Ciel Phantomhive, get your shit together.
Fuck.
Okay, he's hot and what about it.
Okay. I'm definitely not imagining that his hand is invading my personal bubble. Oh my god is this really happening. This jerk thinks he can get anyone with that pretty face. But no. Not these jeans. Not in this weather. No ma'am.
I get up, right as his hand stops, and stomp my way to the bench across and angrily plant my ass on the cold wood. Before I can even get comfortable I hear that jerk laugh. I glance up to see that son of a bitch with a hand over his dirty mouth, as if he were trying to hold himself back. I'm going to kill him.
For the last time, I attempt to give my bible one more try, but of course Mr. Imtooprettytocare has other plans. I hear him before I see him. His expensive shoes click and clack against the school's wack ass pavement. I look up and hold his stare as he takes his precious time approaching me. He stops inches from the tip of my boots and continues to stare.
Ugh. I'm already tired of this guy and his stupid face.
Seriously, why me? Why couldn't he just stay inside his car and leave me alone?
Irritated, I open my big mouth.
"Can I help you?"
His smirk is back and he lifts a perfectly plucked eyebrow and even has the audacity to show me his blinding white teeth.
"Yeah, you can be mine for the night."
