You sit down at the foodcourt table with a plate of fries and your shopping bags. Your best friend Lyla sits across the table from you.
"Thanks for the shopping date Lyla!" You day stuffing some fries into your mouth. "It's really appreciated."
"Oh it's not problem at all hun. We haven't had a girl day in forever!!" She replies smiling. You go back to munching on your fries. "Sooooo..."
"Hm?" You look up from your fries to her.
"What's this about you and Jax?" She asks leaning across the table. You nearly choke on your fries.
"What do you mean?" You ask coughing a little.
"Don't play dumb Y/N, I see the way you look at him when he's around. You like him!"
Your cheeks get warm. "Well.. he did save my life."
"I KNEW IT!!" She shouts. People in the food court turn and look. Your face gets hotter.
"Lyla!!"
"Sorry!" She whispers.
"Yes I do like him," you tell her picking at your fries. "How couldn't I? He's so cute and tough. Have you seen that body Lyla!! He's ripped!! And he did save my life after all"
"You're so cute when you blush hun!" Lyla coos. "Ugh! You guys would make the cutest couple!!"
"If only he'd notice me like that..."
"Darling, he will once I'm done with you!! Let's go!" Lyla gets up from her chair, grabs your shopping bags and your hands and rushes off to one of the stores.
"But my fries!!"
