The boys left this morning for a club run. You never knew what it was about or how long it would be till they returned. You walked into Teller-Morrow to help Gemma with paper work. As you close the creaky door Gemma looks up from her spot on the desk.

"Hi Darlin. Glad you could come help" she says returning to the papers.

"Not a problem!" You start sifting through some papers. "Hey Gem?" Gemma looks at you over her reading glasses, "what do they do on these runs?"

She smiles before taking her glasses off. "You don't want to know sweetheart." But you did! You really wanted to know. You watch Gemma pull out a cigarette and light it. "It's safer if you don't know"

"But why?" You ask watching her exhale a grey cloud. She smirks before taking another drag.

"Sweetheart, you're new to this," she leans forward in her chair. "I can tell. But you're not ready to know what can go on." Taking another drag she continues, "or do you really want to know?" You nod and sit down. She exhales again. "Alright then. Don't say I didn't warn you!"

"I understand Gem."

"They go on these runs for business. Club business. It can be different every time." She puts out her cigarette. "It's what happens after that counts."

You look at her confused. "What do you mean?"

"Well.. the guys can have drinks or a party before they come home. Croweaters from the local town are there. They hit on our boys, entertain others. But we'll never know who ended up with who. It's a 'don't ask don't tell' situation."

You begin to feel sick. "Do you think Jax-"

"Hard to say Sweetheart. Men are animals and will go running to anything with a pussy. What you have to do is not dwell on it. Remember he's coming home to you, not her."

You nod and go back to the paper work. No strings attached. As if it was that easy.
