All dressed up

"Hurry up Y/N!" Lyla shouts from down the hall.

"I'm hurrying!" You holler back at her. You finish adjusting your hair before you look in the mirror. You looked good! Black and red were definitely your colours, Lyla was right. You take one final look before you exit your room to find your friend.

"Where are we going?" You ask finding her in the living room. "Why so formal?"

"I wanted to take you out for supper," she tells you grabbing her keys.

"Why aren't you dressed up?"

"I have to pick up my outfit from the clubhouse." She replies walking to the door. You quirk an eyebrow at her as she turns around. "Don't ask."

You guys arrive at the clubhouse. Lyla puts the car in park. "I'll be right back!" She unbuckles her seat belt, "stay here."

Jax clubs into the driver seat.

"What are you doing?" You ask him as he starts the car. "This is Lyla's car." He puts it in reverse as it starts to roll backwards

"I know, she told me to take you for a drive while she got ready." He replies shifting the car from reverse to drive.

"Uh... ok."

You both roll out of the clubhouse parking lot and onto the streets of Charming. After a few blocks he turns onto main street.

"What's got you all dolled up Darlin?" He asks glancing over at you.

"Lyla and I were gonna go out for supper." You beam. "She really likes her girl time." Jax smirks a little and continues driving. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

Hey guys! :) hope you're enjoying my book so far! I just wanna say thank you for all the reads and support :) it truly means a lot to me!

I also wanna say that today will be my last Thursday update (at least for now!). It's just becoming to much for me right now to post both Tuesday and Thursday. I've got work, writing, and family time to try to get in on a daily and 2 posts is just to much. I hope you guys understand!! Saying this I will continue with my Teller Tuesday updates :)
