*the four of them transmatted down to the Exodus Black, where as she was loading her hand cannon, Phoenix "accidentally" shot Jäger in the back of the head, causing him to immediately die as Brick freaked out*

PHOENIX

Oops *she said sarcastically as Jäger's ghost revived him. He glared at Phoenix then spoke*

JÄGER

Are we REALLY doing this now? *he said as he pulled out his sniper rifle*

PHOENIX

Nah, just needed to make a point.

BRICK

You two can do this later, we need to get this done remember?

CAYDE

Shush greenie, have some popcorn.

JÄGER

No, Brick has a point. Lets go.*he said ignoring Phoenix sticking her tounge out at him while Cayde ate the last of his popcorn*

*the four guardians proceed to trek down to the Exodus Black to talk to Fail Safe*

FAILSAFE

Ah! Hello captains! What brings you and the Cayde unit here? Along with someone new? Not like it matters...

CAYDE

Ah, Brick, meet Failsafe, and her evil twin, Failsafe.

PHOENIX

FAILSAFE

You are correct Captain! This is an important task! You need to kill a Vex Mind called the Nameless! How Exciting! But seriously, this thing has been messing things up down here...

CAYDE

Hold up, there's a Vex Mind HERE?! Why is it here?

FAILSAFE

We don't know! But we do know it needs to be stopped! And besides, Ikora wanted some specific parts from it for her research on how to better combat the Vex.

JӒGER

Well no wonder they sent all four of us... not only do we need to kill it, but we need to keep certain parts INTACT for Ikora? This is actually going to be a challenge...

BRICK

Judging from your reactions, I'm going to need a bigger gun, aren't I?

CAYDE

Now hold the phone, what parts does Ikora need?

FAILSAFE

One moment! *awkward pause* Ikora says you need to salvage as many mind components as you can, the eye, and any chassis components as you can. So don't mess it up...

PHOENIX

Got it, so Brick, just aim for the gooey center! We need the head intact. Because fair warning, if you mess this up for us? I'm telling Ikora and she'll LITERALLY throw you off the TOWER walls...

BRICK

Hahaha, okay yeah sure, she wouldn't actually do that...

*Cayde looked at Brick with a serious face*

CAYDE

Seriously kid, she's not kidding. Ikora's done it before. Just aim for the gooey centre.

*Brick looked at Jäger with a joking "do you believe this?" look on his face, only for his smirk to be wiped away with the serious expression of Jäger's face*

BRICK

Alright, alright, I get it. No explosives or anything like that.

CAYDE

*Cayde clapped the Titan on the back* Hey now, we aren't saying that! Just keep it localized to the things feet! After all, we only really need the head!

Right, now Failsafe, if you could please tell us where exactly we will find this thing, we will be on our way. Please hurry, for a couple of us are about to run off and start blowing things up regardless of our target. *Jäger glared pointedly at Cayde and Phoenix, who did their best to look completely innocent, and failed epicly*

FAILSAFE

Transmitting coordinates! Transmission complete! Just follow your Ghost's waypoint and you will find the Nameless!

PHOENIX

Well? What are we waiting for?! *everyone's head turned to the grinning Hunter* Let's do this!*She yelled sprinting out of Failsafe's room. Cayde followed yelling with glee at the prospect of being able to kick some ass for once. And with that, all four guardians rushed out to find and kill the Nameless*

*2 hours later...*

JӒGER

Okay, we're here... where is it? *Jäger muttered cautiously after not finding the Nameless where its signal was coming from*

BRICK

*walks out into the middle of what looks like an arena and looks around*

IT'S NOT HERE GUYS! ITS NOT- *Brick was interrupted by the Nameless landing on Brick from a seemingly great height, instantly killing the Titan as the Hunters readyed their weapons, the darkness closing in...*
