An accidental confession from Ophelia had become a turn in events as the pair had decided to try and date. Which was a huge shock to Alice and Lysander, considering just a few weeks ago it was probably the most painful and awkward way of how it started.

Lorcan just responded with 'Okay, do you want to date?' and Ophelia just agreed blankly to the question. However, once the two parted and were out of each other's sights, they were in panic mode, but it wasn't out of regret.

Instead, it was the complete opposite, even if it was oddly the weirdest start.

Given the time apart, Lorcan had been congratulated by his twin while Ophelia with Alice. Which ended with the new couple both coming to the realization that the pair were snooping and it led to a whirlwind of embarrassment and rage.

Though it hardly lasted long enough to become an issue—instead, the pair had become their advice-seekers about what to do, since the pair of them had never been in a relationship.

At the get-go, the relationship was odd, but it might have just been a match made in heaven. They were both clumsy when they were around each other, but they had found themselves enjoying each second.

Ophelia still teased him, but somehow Lorcan had slowly started to reverse it back. It was slowly a game that the need for a checkmate was no longer a position on their board.

However, while it was all good, there were still some difficulties with advancing anything further than a nod of a head when they parted. Though it was not as if they were rushing, it was just neither known how to go about the next steps.

So, while that was the worries in the working—whenever they departed it left them both having a hard time to sleep with how awkward it was. The nagging feeling that practically was shouting at them to just hurry and move forward, however that was left to their own inner judgment.

It was until Alice and Lysander—being the intrusive people they were, had stepped in and tried to explain physical contact—such as hugging, holding hands or even just affectionately and moderately sitting near each other—which they still did not do.

It was always sitting across from each other or with something between them to avoid physical contact.

It was a trial that took months—however, as patient Lysander and Alice was—they took the liberty in slowly making them be sat next to each other work. Which did—eventually, but holding hands or hugging was still far away.

However, Ophelia and Lorcan were satisfied with the wait, regardless of the interference of their loved ones.

In due course, the first hand holding and hug was eventually initiated and it was a feeling that only ignited the growing feeling within the couple.

Alice and Lysander were as usual not too far from the couple in the shadows yet again and fist bumped in victory at both occurrences.
