For days, you were stuck in that cursed room and not being able to be untied at all. Louis would always come into your room and try to feed you, only to have both of you arguing at each other when you refused to eat. He would treat you with hospitality, or at least would try to. Whenever you refused, he would instantly snap and yell at you. Who would refuse to accept hospitality from a psychopath who won't even let them go to the bathroom?

You constantly contemplated on how to break free. You tried to struggle your way out and eventually your ropes would get loose, but it was only a bit and the harder you trued, the more your wrists would get burned. But you got your leg free! Not from the rope though, you literally  broke the left side of the lower headboard.

Days turned a whole week and all you could think about was Caleb. You couldn't help but think about how many times Ann was calling you, how many times that Caleb had been going crazy without you being there, how much you missed him...

You hated being in that damn room. You hated not being able to go to the damn bathroom. Mostly...you hated not being around Caleb. You missed his touch, his voice, his smile, his everything. You needed to get out of there asap and you knew just how to do it.

You woke up one morning, turning your head to see Louis sleeping right next to you. You thought, "That damn bastard..."  You sighed a bit and closed your eyes. "Okay (y/n), those theater art classes in 4th grade and high school are definitely gonna pay off today. Remember what Ms. Green  said, stick to your act."

You took a deep breath and nudged him with your free leg. "Louis~ Darling~" You said in a gentle tone. He groaned and opened his eyes. You smiled sweetly and looked at him lovingly.

"Good morning, my darling~" you purred.

He looked at you, slight confusion in his face. "Darling?" he said as he sat up a bit. "Well, of course. Am I wrong for calling you that?" you say in that same loving, annoying tone. He smiled slightly and chuckled, saying with a smirk, "Well, not at all. I suppose that you've come to your senses." "Well I guess you could say that I've developed a newfound love for you." You saw his face brighten, that meant your facade was working.

"Well, sweetheart, I'm gonna fix some breakfast for you. Be right back~" You watched with a wide smile as he walked out of the room. Once the door shut, you began struggling once again to break free. You whimpered from the pain of your bruised wrists, but you fought through it. Louis walked in and you instantly stopped, putting back on your fake face. You smiled warmly and looked at the tray in his hand. "God, that dry oat cereals and on-the-verge of burnt toast. That orange juice is full of pulp. I don't wanna have to chew my drink. He was never good at making breakfast..."

"Looks yummy!" you lied.

He sat down on the edge of the bed and began to feed you the cereal. "Even with the milk, this stuff is dry. Where did he get this stuff from?" you thought as you swallowed the cereal, along with disgust. After being fed a bit more, you said,"So Louis...I was thinking. I've been-" He shoved another spoonful of cereal in your mouth, almost choking you. "Yes, sweetmeat?" He said with a soft hum. You furrowed your brows at the strange nickname and slowly chewed before swallowing once again.

"So...I've been thinking and-" Once again he shoved another spoonful in your mouth. You were starting to get irritated now. You rolled your eyes and swallowed. "So I was thinking that-" He did it again, this time making you choke. You cough, causing the cereal and milk to mess up your beautiful dress with each cough. "QUIT IT!" you snapped. He gasped a bit and frowned, getting a napkin and wiped off your face. "What were you saying, darling?"

You took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "I was thinking that I've been in this bed for a very long time and I think I should be able to get a few steps in." You saw his facial expression change, but you kept your cool and stuck to your act. "Now listen, I know what you're thinking and I'm not gonna run away. I just wanna properly stretch out, change out of these oat-covered clothes, and get my purse because I think I have a code red if you know what I mean."

He snickered a bit and sighed. "I don't know, (y/n). You look pretty sneaky~" You pouted and looking at him with adorable, pleading eyes. The adorableness was your secret weapon and it worked because next thing you knew, he was letting you go free. You groaned and rubbed your wrist that were visibly red and irritated. Louis finally untied your right leg and smiled at you. You fully felt relief and you knew that your plan was gonna work.

You walked into the bathroom, a fresh pair of clothes and purse in hand. You locked the door and quickly changed into your outfit that consisted out a off-the-shoulder crop top blouse and cute blue jeans. After you put on the shirt, you tried to take your pants off but struggled to. You still had that stupid part of the headboard on your leg. "Stupid headboard piece..." you thought as you took it off. Then you realized...you could use it was a weapon! Everything was coming together.

You went downstairs and saw Louis on the couch. You walked out, clutching the headboard piece in your hand. You got behind him and lifted the piece up before whacking it across his head. You heard a loud thud and a groan before he fell to the ground. You smirked, looking at his unconscious body.

"Piece of cake.."

You waited outside by your car as you watched Louis being escorted out of his house by police officers. You smiled to yourself and saw that he was looking at you. Seeing the expression on his face made your smile fade though. While you did do the right thing, he was your best friend. You were sending your best friend off to jail. I guess the grief was setting in, but then you remembered.

"Caleb!"
