"the case is in that room, third door down the hallway" renjun said through the ear piece looking at the monitors chenle was controlling. at the moment nct was fighting with skz.

skz was a new mafia full of rookies. they were a little too full of themselves thinking they could steal a prized possession from the nct mafia and get away with it. before hiriko passed, his last mission was to retrieve 'the black diamond', a one-of-kind jewel which nct cherishes deeply.

"doyoung look out!" johnny said before jabbing his elbow into his opponents neck completely unbothered.

doyoung ducked thanks to johnny's warning before stabbing skz's ace member hyunjin in the neck. twisting it before pulling the knife out and walking away.

for the next fifteen minutes, the two mafia groups continued to fight against each other. taeyong was inside skz's base fighting with their leader, chan.

"why'd you come here?" chan said getting a good blow to taeyong's lip.

"you know why we're here" taeyong replied dryly wiping his now bleeding lip before punching chan in the jaw causing him to fly backwards. the male brutally punched chan repeatedly in the face, blood all over his knuckles. taeyong took the male beneath him state to his advantage grabbing the shiny grey gun that was kick across the room in the middle of their dispute.

taeyong aimed the gun at the male slowly becoming unconscious laying beneath him,

"don't ever steal from me again. wait...you won't be able to" he said before shooting chan right between his eyebrows.

taeyong slowly lowered the gun before going to get the case.

outside the rest of the members were still fighting off the last of skz. some of them already getting tired.

"mark watch out!" johnny called out once again but this time to mark.

unfortunately mark wasn't quick enough, as he turned around he got shot in the chest causing him to wince and fall limp to the ground.

"shit" johnny muttered under his breath before shooting felix in the back of the head.

Jaehyun and yuta were sitting back on the couch scrolling through their phones as areum and akemi played animal crossing on the nintendo switch.

"areum make a heart shaped pond!" akemi had stated with a little too much excitement as areum was digging a pond on their village. jaehyun raised an eyebrow at akemi's request " that game seems like ass..." he stated causing yuta to shift his attention from his phone to the girls.

"shut up your just mad cause all your villagers are ugly." akemi said making jaehyun gasp and yuta snort. jaehyun grabbed the stack of games placed on the floor next to the girls. he pulled mario kart from the stack and waved it around "i'll show you guys a real game." jaehyun said with a little too much confidence in his voice. areum and akemi immediately took the challenge passing a controller to jaehyun.

areum found herself on the floor racing against yuta. akemi had previously beat jaehyun which meant that if areum was able to beat yuta akemi and her would beat them.

as they reached the final lap the tension quickly grew in in the room. yuta pushed areum almost causing her to drop her controller. areum didn't like that. so, she used this as an opportunity to throw a red shell at yuta causing him to spin off course. areum's plan had worked causing her to speed towards the finish line and end the round.
