Akita's POV:

"Are you ready for tonight? With Mito that is." I asked as Madara sat at his desk. He had a fisted hand that his head was resting on as he looked over documents the elders sent him this morning.

"I think with your ability it should go smoothly." His eyes stayed glued to the paper and I stood up dusting off my kimono.

"Well I'm going to go make some tea, do you want any?" He shook his head no but I knew he wasn't paying attention. His eyes were glossed over which meant he'd stopped listening.

I started the kettle and waited. Madara's house was bland, not that it was small or anything. He just doesn't have anything personal here, nothing that would even tell you anyone lived here if you were to walk in without knowing. His office was the only place I'd seen photos and it was from when he was a child.

Of course I'm sure his bedroom was personal but I haven't been there. Wait what? Why am I thinking of his bedroom? Heat soon rose to my cheeks and I shook my head. Maybe I was coming down with something.

As soon as the tea was done I went up to his office but I found it empty. "Madara?" I walked further into the room and he was nowhere. I set his tea down and I went to go look for him.

He'd never given me a tour and this house had way more rooms than he needed, yet they were all empty. There were only three more doors down this hall so I hope he's in one. The first one was a big bathroom. Thank god he wasn't there.

I thought I'd gotten lucky that I hadn't seen him in the bathroom until I walked into a sight that would probably never leave my memory. I couldn't tear my eyes from the sight in front of me. Madara Uchiha was handsome, I already knew that, but his body should have come with a warning label.

His chest and abs were perfect, not rock solid but definitely visible. His pants hung dangerously low on his hips that showed off a tantalizing v-line. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears and then suddenly I heard a voice.

"Close your mouth or you'll catch flies Akita." That's when I realized my mouth was slightly open and I did the most logical thing I could think. I turned and walked out without a word. I could hear his soft laughter behind me but I wouldn't dare say anything.

I set the tea down and walked outside to catch my breath. The cool air hitting my cheeks helped. "Hey Akita! Wait why do you look so funny?" I looked over and saw Kaiji followed by the other three boys I'd helped not too long ago.

"What? Wh...What do you mean I don't look weird." I argued while stumbling over my words. I crossed my arms trying to sell it but he shook his head.

"This girl in class does the same thing, everytime I even get close her eyes get all big and her face gets red. Girls are weird." He shrugged. My face only got hotter but I flicked him in the forehead.

"You idiot girls aren't weird, boys are. Anyways don't you.."

"Didn't you receive the ordinance I sent out this morning, nobody out after dark. Go home, that's an order." Madara's deep voice said behind me. The boys looked frightened and mumbled a bunch of 'yes lord Madara's'.

I turned pushing the feeling from earlier down and asked "why did they look so scared?" Madara turned to walk back in so I had asked the question to his back but he turned his head so I could see the side of his face.

"Most people look at me like that." He said matter-of-factly as we both walked back in and up to his office.

I mumbled out 'why' and his shoulders tensed but he continued walking. "I'd be scared of me too." I immediately grabbed his arm and turned him around.

"Why? You've always done what you had to survive. You're not some scary criminal, you're a guy who lost his family and lived through a war. You try to keep everyone safe. They should look at you like you're a hero or something." I smiled before letting his arm go.
