Still Madara's pov:

She followed me as we walked back through the house to the front door she'd recently come in. I wasn't expecting anyone other than Inabe and Akita had already given him the night off. I rolled my eyes just thinking about it.

Maybe one of the clan elders? Hmm but I'd met with them this morning and we addressed any pressing matters then.

I answered the door with the short brunette behind me. "Tobirama? What are you doing here?" This Senju was the last person I'd expect at my door, matter of fact I'm sure this was the first time he'd been here without Hashirama.

"I was told that Akita was here, is that correct?" Before I could answer him she stepped from behind me.

"Is Hashirama okay? Normally he's the one who comes to check on me." I furrowed my eyebrows, why was he checking on her? Maybe because she's a dunce and a clutz. I almost chuckled at my own revelation when the white haired male spoke up.

"He's fine, I'm here to apologize for my behavior at dinner last week." He was practically gritting his teeth while apologizing. The sight alone would have made my day but what Akita said next shocked me.

"I'm not the one you should apologize to, Madara was the one who you were assuming things about." She said with those glimmering yet blank eyes. As if she was stating that two plus two equals four. My mouth opened slightly and I looked at her as if she'd grown another head.

"You want me to apologize to him?!" Tobirama raised his voice slightly which only earned a glare from me.

"If you want to be forgiven then you'll apologize to Madara. Otherwise go home." She stomped one foot while crossing her arms which only made her look like a pouting child. The sight alone drew a small smirk from me.

"I... I apologize for my behavior... M...Madara." The senju spat as if the words were poison. I raised my eyebrows, this woman who came out of nowhere had just made one of the most stubborn men I know apologize to me.

I bowed my head and he mentioned something about having to leave. Luckily I held in my laughter until after I shut the door. I opened my eyes only to see her staring at me with a smile. "You have a really nice smile Madara, you should do it more often, otherwise you'll get wrinkles from frowning so much."

A strange heat made its way to my cheeks, it was slight and I wiped my smile away and walked back to my office.

I sat down at my desk and she stood beside me. "Wow is that your mom, she's beautiful!" She pointed at the framed picture that sat on my desk.

"Hm." I nodded and she picked up the frame, my eyes followed as she smiled back at the picture.

The picture was one of the only ones of my entire family that managed to make it out of the war. "So who are these people? I mean obviously their your family but uh well." Before she could drabble on anymore I pointed at the picture and began listing off the people in it.

"There's me, then the next oldest is Kaito, then Yuuto and Touma, they were twins, and the baby Izuna. Then my mother Emiko and my father Tajima." Looking back up at her she had an even bigger smile on her face.

"You're all so cute! Your father looks pretty scary though. So do they live here with you or do they have their own houses in the Uchiha district? Oh maybe I can cook a really big meal and they can all come over and make you less grumpy!" She beamed. Her excitement only made my chest feel heavier.

"They died in the war between the Senju and the Uchiha." Her smile vanished and she looked back down at the picture with sad eyes.

"I'm sorry. That you lost them I mean. War is terrible. The Uzumaki elders used to tell me that my entire clan was slaughtered because of war." She rubbed the picture once more as if she'd known them and lost them before setting it back on my desk.

"So how'd you survive?" If her entire family was killed that would mean that she hid or was taken away during everything.

"Mito's father, the clan leader, told me that after the war between my clan and another was over they were traveling through after capturing the four tailed beast when they heard a cry. The jar that held four tails began rattling and he was yelling, trying to get out. Soon they found a pile of wood and rock and beneath it was the nine tails curled in a ball. After locking him away they realized he was wrapped around a baby in a blanket. It was a miracle I survived and because I was helpless and the tailed beasts reacted so strongly towards me they took me with them." I gave her a nod and went on to sign more documents given to me by Inabe from people within our clan.

Considering I'd never even heard of the Fujime clan it had to have been small which means they probably didn't stand a chance against whoever waged war on them. Though a part of me was almost relieved that she was saved. Otherwise nobody would put that white haired Senju in his place.
