"Yuri..."

"Jessica I'm sorry for everything but please listen to me I'm going insane I--"

"Yuri."

Yuri looked up from the flower bouquet. She was afraid seeing Jessica would make her lost her words, but apparently staring down wasn't a wise choice.

"Taeyeon."

She sighed in disappointment as her cheeks flushed. How embarrassing.

"Is Jessica...?"

Taeyeon shook her head and Yuri's heart sank. When she finally got the address, Jessica wasn't home?

"I'm sorry Yuri. But Sica's not here anymore. She just returned home an hour ago. We tried our best to hold her back but you know how stubborn she is." Taeyeon sighed. "We couldn't really do much either, otherwise she'd suspect. I mean, we were trying to convince her going home all the time before."

Yuri just nodded. She felt too empty to even utter a thanks. It's too late now. How was she supposed to see Jessica if the girl was home already? Jessica behind the Jung residence's doors, that was like Princess Fiona being locked away in a castle guarded by two terribly dangerous dragons - namely the parents. Too bad Yuri wasn't a brave knight, nor Shrek, and there's no Donkey who could come up with an ingenious plan to help her saving the princess. Not to mention the princess didn't want to be saved at all. In fact, the princess wanted to avoid the prince. Or Shrek. Or Yuri. Or whatever.

"Yuwree, don't be sad." Tiffany appeared behind Taeyeon, giving Yuri a consoling smile. "I can assure she hasn't forgotten about you. We will find a way."

Yuri just smiled weakly back at the couple. Of course Jessica hadn't forgotten about her. She's the girl's most hated man's cousin after all. What she wanted to know was if Jessica still wanted to be with her. Because Yuri knew she did. Badly. She knew Jessica had feelings for her. From the gazes, the touches, the kisses - she could tell for sure. But she didn't know if those feelings were enough for Jessica to forgive her, to accept her being blood-related to Kwon Jiyong.

She missed Jessica awfully.

"Honey!"

Her mother fell round her neck, almost tearing up. She hugged the woman tightly.

"Mom, I'm sorry."

"It's okay sweetheart." Her mother released the hug to get a look at her face. "Did you take care well of yourself the last two weeks?"

Jessica nodded. She didn't have the intention to tell her mother about what really happened. Her parents trusted Taeyeon and Tiffany very much - that's why these two were able to kidnap her, yet still didn't make her parents suspect anything. It was the two of them who convinced Jessica's parents to stop searching for her and give her some alone time to think. Jessica was thankful to them, but that was before they trapped her. She took their action amiss; then again, she didn't want her parents to think bad of her (still) best friends. She could 'use' their good relationship with her parents sometime later, who knows.

Jessica was thinking about telling her mom half of the truth. She could tell her parents were still hoping for her to marry soon, and the news of her having a crush on someone would definitely make them happy. Moreover, Jessica really needed some advice from her mom. She wasn't that experienced in love - not to mention the one being involved this time was a Kwon, again. Last time, she decided everything on her own, behind the elders' back, and it led to no good. Jessica didn't want to make the same mistake twice. She wanted to know her mother's opinion and she's sure, it would be the best for her. Because, after all, her mother was still the one that loved her most.
