The kids alarm rang at 11 pm. Startled, they shot up. For a moment they felt as if they were fourteen again. But as they turned off the alarm, they felt the toy bear on their chest and their short hair scratching against their neck.

Maran turned on the little lamp on the table in front of them. Their shirt layed there, along with a note from Emem reading:"Your purple guy is real. I sent you a link look at it later."

The kid sighed and stood up. "Amazing", they remarked sarcastically under their breath,"I've been threatened by a killer that has the same favourite color as I do and stole his plushy."

A strangled laugh escaped their lips. Then they stood up and put on their uniform. They slipped into their black cloak and put their phone inside. Then they answered on the note: Will do, I'll be back quarter past six.

Then the kid grabbed both Plushies and quietly left the apartment.

They had taken their time to get ready, Emem lived even closer to Freddy's than they did. This time Mike had already left, no cars were to see in the parking lot.

Unlocking the door and sliding in, the kid scanned the whole main room. Nothing was out of place yet. They sighed and locked the door after them. Then they quickly walked to their office.

Just as they had placed both toys on the table, the clock struck midnight. They played the recorded voice message, something about the moving robots and that they should watch out for Pirate Cove.

"I will punch him", they muttered through grinding teeth. They were angry at everyone and everything.

Then the kid took a deep breath and whispered:"That's no solution. Maybe we can talk."

As the first three hours went by, the kid noticed that the robots were more active already. Maran had to close both doors quite a few times, draining their power.

Then, they saw that the curtain of Pirate Cove was open, just a bit. Out of the dark behind the starred pattern, a fox stared into the camera.

"Oh shit, what's this one gonna do?", Maran asked underneath their breath.

"Foxy will come running down the hall and try to break down your door", someone said behind them.

Startled, the kid bolted up. Spinning around, they took a step towards him asking:"How do you do that? I can't see you on any camera and yet, at some point, you just show up behind me!"

The man looked at them for a few moments not saying anything. As heavy footsteps sounded down the hall, he hit the switch that closed the door. Seconds later, something, or someone, ran against it.

Maran quickly checked the light outside the door, then opened it again.

Just as they wanted to say something again, the man spoke:"There is a reason to this happening. And it's my fault. I can't make it ok again. And a sorry won't do much for the kids."

Maran let out a deep sigh, then they sat back down. Grabbing their phone of the table, they finally opened the link Emem had sent them.

"What are you doing?", the man asked, his voice filled with caution and distrust.

"Hopefully finding out your name", Maran replied, reading roughly through the article. Then they checked through the cameras, closing the right door before Chica could come in.

"So, if this is right your name is William. William A?", they said without paying much attention to the supposed killer behind them.

"How do you know that?", he growled quietly.

Maran checked the time, 4 am, and replied:"My best friend can find out anything about someone with just a bit detail. I think she just googled something like 'murders at Freddy's'. Or at least along the lines of that."

"And what are you going to do with that knowledge?", he asked, his voice low and quiet. He seemed angry, but well under control.

Maran sighed. "I should probably call the police. Then again, it says here you died. So they wouldn't believe me anyways.", they said. William seemed as if he wanted to say something, but before he could do so, the kid went on:"You don't seem as if you'd kill me either. You would have done so yesterday."

The man grabbed them by the back of their shirt, pulling them out of the chair. Then he pushed them against the wall, his one hand around their neck.

"Tell me one good reason I wouldn't kill you right now", he whispered.

Maran fought against his grip around their neck, but he was stronger. Who knew how fit he actually was, he'd disappeared years ago. Williams other hand grabbed onto their arm, where he had cut them the night before.

"C'mon kid!", he yelled. Grabbing tighter, the gash on the kids' upper arm opened again, causing blood to stain their shirt and his hand.

Maran coughed. They could barely breath, much less talk. The kid also felt as if they couldn't move. William let go of them, causing the kid to fall to the ground.

Standing up, Maran whispered:"Why would you want to kill me?" Their throat hurt and their voice was raspy, but that didn't bother them.

William harshly pushed them back into the chair, then slammed shut the right door again. Maran could see Bonnie outside, he looked sad. But that could just be the kids mind playing tricks on them.

For a few moments, it was awfully quiet between the two of them. Maran leaned over to the plushies, trying to grab the Bunny without making a sound.

Then the animatronic left, William opened the door. He turned around to see Maran reaching for the plushy. With a few steps he was next to the startled kid and slapped them. Maran held their cheek but didn't make a sound.

Then the man took both plushies. He looked at them in confusion, then his expression shifted to anger. He dropped the Bunny and took Goldie into both of his hands. Maran could see his intend and reached out for the toy. This caused William to drop it and hit Maran. This time he landed a stroke on their temple.

A strangled cry escaped their lips. Their head was throbbing, the man definitely wasn't weak. Maran felt dizzy, their vision was blurry. William looked at them, his expression cold. Maran could only see a purple spot in the dark.

As their vision cleared again, William stepped closer. His angry expression had shifted to coldness. "You shouldn't get your friend in trouble too, kid", he said. Maran blinked and he was gone.

Their head was throbbing for the last hour, shortly before 6 o'clock Foxy slammed into the door again. Then, the power was gone.

Maran sat in the dark for a few silent minutes, then a music box started to play. On the left door, a shadow of what seemed to be Freddy appeared. It's eyes and mouth were glowing. Maran couldn't help but stare at it. Then the clock hit 6 am. The alarm sounded and the shadow was gone.
