Right after William had ended his sentence, he hung up the phone. The clock now showed 5:50 am. The man suddenly seemed stressed, he threw the cloak over Marans shoulders. Then he grabbed them by the neck and started to pull them out of the hallway. Maran managed to grab Springbunny and Goldie, but the Foxy toy fell to the ground.

Maran tried to pull his hands of their neck, but as they nearly lost Goldie, they gave up for the moment. As they reached the door, William demanded the keys and plushies.

The kid cautiously handed him the keys. "Give me the damn toys!", he yelled at them. Maran pressed the animals tighter to their chest.

"Why do you want them?", they cried. The kid somehow felt as if their life depended on the stuffed animals.

William sighed and then said, his voice now calmer:"If you behave, you can have them back later."

"I want to go and get Foxy", they said, the other toys still pressed to their chest.

"Will you give all three of them to me then?", the man asked. He sounded annoyed, but Maran saw that as a risk worth taking, so they quickly nodded.

"Fine", Willian said,"give me the other two and then you can go and look for the last one. You have one minute."

Maran quickly handed him the plushies. As soon as he let go of them, they rushed back to the office. They ignored the pain that stung through their body. Right now, they had to get the toy that Christen gave them.

The kid picked it up from the ground and hurried back. They didn't want to get into trouble. As they stumbled out of the door, they handed William the last toy. He nodded, then locked the door. The man pulled the kids hood over their face, took them by the hand and started to walk away. Just a few moments after they turned the corner, Christen and Ivey made their way across the parking lots.

After a few steps, William picked Maran up. "Close your eyes", he growled quietly.

The kid held back tears as they did as he told them too. The man walked steadily, and if Maran hadn't been this scared and nervous, they could have fallen asleep.

William held them tight to his chest and had put the hood so that the kid couldn't see if they opened their eyes. Maran got more and more anxious, the further they seemed to walk away.

The man stopped walking for a while. Maran could hear something ring, then a door buzzing. A moment later, they were in a building. William set down Maran harshly, the kid stumbled and nearly fell over. Fighting off the hood, they barely stood. Their whole body was shaking, and their breathing went up. The kids' body was aching, and they wanted nothing more than Emem to hug them and tell them that everything was ok. But as they leaned against a wall, trying to catch their breath, the kid shook that thought off.

"Hurry up", the man growled. Maran nodded, they felt lightheaded and dizzy but managed to somehow stumble towards William.

The man groaned then said:"Finally it's working." Before Maran could get a chance ask what he was talking about, the world around them faded into black.

Sometime later, Maran woke up in a dark room. The kid had lost track of time and place completely. They felt something pretty soft underneath them, but there wasn't the slightest bit of light around. That scared them a bit, they couldn't see where they were and if they were alone. The kid didn't dare to move. As the minutes slowly passed, they wondered if Castim had set this up, this felt like every other morning that he was around.

But Maran didn't know this place, it smelled and felt unfamiliar. As they wanted to raise their right hand to wipe away some tears, they felt something heavy around their wrist. There was a metal rattling, then the kid put their arm down again.

Moments later, a door opened in front of them and the sudden light made Marans eyes hurt and tear up. They took a few moments to adjust to the sudden change. As they could see clearly again, the kid first saw a chain that was wrapped around their right wrist. Then they noticed the plushies sitting on a desk across the room. Maran saw William walking in, then they noticed the bed they were in.

William was looming over them "You're just in time for Halloween", he said and grinned. Maran automatically wanted to jump up and get away from him. But they could barely sit up. They were tied to the bed with the chain around their rest. The kid could probably reach the door fine, and the desk with the plushies. But there was no way the chain would reach further than that.

"Where are we?", the kid whispered, tears dripping down their cheeks again.

"You know I won't tell you that", William responded. Then a dark grin split his lips, and he said:"But I can tell you what we are going to do."

"What would that be?", Maran stuttered.

The purple guy gave of a hollow laugh and with a dark and wicked smile he said:"We are going to write a few letters."
