November 24, 1992

He felt disgusting. He felt wet. And most of all he felt slimy.

'What the fuck is happening?' He thought in a monotone voice. Even his thoughts were depressing.

When his head hit cold air he shivered, he wasn't crying. One he was still confused and wondering where he was and two his emotions hadn't really kicked in yet.

Then he felt a smack on his bottom causing him to yelp.

'Why did I just get slapped?' to say the 23 year old was confused would be an understatement.

"Congratulations Ms. Lockwood. You had a healthy baby boy."

"Hand him to me." A woman standing off to the side said. "I am adopting him after all."

'Ah well fuck me.' The baby said to itself. He really hated the universe in this very moment. All he wished for was death, that's it.

What he didn't wish for was to be born in a world that he thought was a fantasy. He was still born Korean though... right?

December 25, 1992

It was Christmas, little Ryu's first since their last life.

His Uncle's and Aunt's had come over. Who was he kidding it was basically half the town of Mystic Falls.

Ryu's Aunt Carol was 7 months pregnant. This shocked him, last they had known Richard and Carol only had one kid.

And if that was the case it meant he was going to be older than Tyler. Maybe he'd be able to change more by being older.

Hopefully he'll be able to change something.

This was also the month Ryu met Elena and Caroline who were 5 and 1 month(s) older than him. Sure he might not have liked Elena in the series after Season 2 but he thought that maybe he could influence people to be better.

Victoria Donovan had also been a person he met, she was a year older than him. She had already decided Ryu was her best friend. Ryu accepted this.

January 26, 1993

Ryu was three months old.

Nothing much had happened during this month surprisingly.

No big event.

No surprise birth.

Nothing.

Very plain.

Much boring.

February 27, 1993

Now this was the month. A month to remember indeed.

Bonnie Bennet had been born. This was on the 5th.

And five days later Ryu's little cousin had decided to pop from Aunt Carol's oven.

The older Lockwood cousin had immediately decided that they would protect little Tyler with their entire being.

Consequences and plot be damned.

Now besides the fact that Ryu's baby cousin was born was the birth of his best friend's baby brother.

It was then that Manella decided that most of the birthdays tended to fall in February. Weird.

March 28, 1993

Another pretty boring month.

Ryu was so close the almost saying the word fuck.

But alas being a baby sucked in the not knowing words department.

April 29, 1993

This was Ryu's fifth month of being in The Vampire Diaries.

Well not so much in the series but in the universe.

Still hadn't said their first word.

I mean they sure did try.

Though they did manage to start to slightly gain control of their limbs and start to semi drag themself everywhere.

Apparently it was adorable. To Ryu it was embarrassing.

May 30, 1993

Six months.

It was disgusting at this point.

Ryu could do basically nothing, sure they constantly visited Tyler.

Or had play dates with Vicki.

But other than that he was so bored.

And no amount of house fires would put them out of their misery.

And before you ask, yes he did set many many many many fires.

Sixteen and counting.

June 29, 1993

Elena had officially turned 1 years old this month.

Ryu liked the party.

That was really it. He was still trying to make his first word a cuss word though so that counts for something.

July 28, 1993

Ruyu said his first word!

It was shit.

Well more like "thihhh" but they got their point across.

To say their parents were mad was an understatement. All they had to learn now was who was cussing at the baby. They'd never find the culprit.

August 27, 1993

Vicki was two now.

And Ryu could vouch and say it was the best. Birthday. Ever.

Ok so maybe they were biased but who cares. They had the right to celebrate their best friend.

Another thing that happened was that Vicki took Tyler under her wing. Ryu, Vicki, and Tyler were known as the baby trio of Mystic Falls.

September 26, 1993

This was a boring month.

I mean sure Ryu was 10 months old.

And maybe they had learned how to crawl.

But other than that was radio silence.

October 25, 1993

Caroline was now a year old!

Ryu had gotten closer to her. Slightly and slowly drawing her away from Elena and Bonnie.

He didn't mean to. He really didn't.

He just loved Caroline too much to let her become a brainwashed cheerleader barbie in the future.

Maybe tweak a few things. Sure she could be a Barbie cheerleader all she wants but Ryu be damned if they would let their (arguable) favorite blonde get brainwashed.

Now all Ryu had to look forward to was Halloween (favorite holiday) and their first birthday. And oh boy would it be so much fun for them.

The chapter is very eh but ive decided to put a year in each chapter until act two, and yes i wont go by a month each time like i did in this chapter. Next chapter will be very more fast paced i swear
