03 Love?

"So, what about you?" I asked while munching my sandwich. Apparently, she's a good cook. Just like Chaewon.

"What about me?" She looks up from her plate to face me who sit right in front of her. She's wearing one of my sweaters that Chaewon love to wear. Oh.

"Your love story. We made a deal, remember?" I asked, while trying to push away the strange thoughts.

"Oh right. Name is Min Yoongi." wait- "He's my long-time crush. I was crushing on him peacefully, knowing he wouldn't even notice my existence anyway but that day came. Turns out, he notices me all this time. We got closer after he broke up with his ex. I was letting my hopes up, thinking I would stand a chance to be with him. I wasn't completely wrong though. We dated for a while until his ex decided come back to him last week." No. This can't be.

"D-Do you somehow know his ex or something?" Jung Hoseok, calm down.

"Uh, I don't really remember. I did saw her picture with him long time ago, I can't picture it well. So, I couldn't describe anything about her." It must be a coincidence, isn't it? "The only thing I know is, she kind of broke up with her boyfriend last week because she doesn't want to cheat on him or something. Yoongi told me about it but at that moment I was too emotional to remember such a thing." Oh no.

She gulped her orange juice not knowing about the truth I'm about to lose my mind for.

"Boring isn't it? I'm so pathetic, right? Thinking my long-time crush would fall in love with me. Turns out, he's just using me to get over his ex and once his ex want him back, he dumped me. I told you it was such a sick love story." She chuckles and I stare at her silently.

Soon, she notices my straight face and her little smile faded away instantly. "Hoseok? What's wrong?"

Instead of give her the answer, I stood up and walk closer to her before bend down to give her a hug.

"U-Uh, What are you doing?" She chuckles awkwardly.

I can't seem to find the answer. I just think, she deserved it.

"I just feel like it." I said after parting a bit to caress her hair. "He doesn't deserve you. Don't hurt yourself anymore, you deserved someone better."

"Someone like you?"

She might throw out the question for a joke but it didn't sound like that for me.

Why would my heart skip a bit when she asked that?

Why her smile causing my legs feel so weak?

Why does she look like Chaewon a lot for me?

3 Weeks Later,

Surprisingly, I still get in touch with Jiwoo. In fact, we're kind of going out together most of the time. Dating? I'm not sure I could use that word yet but I like her and I think she like me too. So, are we dating right now?

"Are we dating right now?" as if she could read my mind, she slipped out that question at the most random moment ever.
