Chapter 17

Reality

I ran as fast as i could but the guards beat me too it. "Mal, we can't let you leave. If you do there a chance that other vilians will come in." Ben said from behind me. I looked to my side and saw jay there ready to fight. "Lets get you back to your man." He said. "Ben, i'm sorry." I shouted. "I should of told you right away that i had fallen inlove on the Isle, but it doesnt make up for the fact that you have been, and still dating my best friend." I said to him. A few tears ran down my cheek. "I need to go see Harry." I said to them. 

Evie clung to his side, the sight made me sick to my stomach. "Mal we cant let you do that right now. Maybe in a few months." Ben trailed off. I looked at jay. Nothing i was going to say was going to make them change their minds. "I'm sorry." I whispered to my best friend, i was scared on what i was going to have to do. "You never have to be sorry for following your heart." He said as he grabbed my hand. "I'm coming back with you." He said. I shook my head. "I can't let you do that." I whispered. "Mal, your my sister. I've never seen you more miserable in your life. I also, dont want to live a life where your not in it. I'm coming back with you." He said. I sniffled a little before nodding. "Okay." I said. "But you might not like what i do." I whispered as i let go of his hand. 

The guards surrounded us. "You know, I never believed the stories that you fed me. About not getting the guards approval to come get me. Not for a second, you're the king. You can do whatever you want. Then today when i saw you guys together it clicked into my head. You guys were happy with out me. You guys fell inlove. Forgot i wasn't even there. Evie on the Isle when you begged me to come back you said, How could i be happy without my best friend? How could you? You guys left me for months. Literally months. There wasnt a day that when by that i didnt think about you guys. But can you say the same? Either of you guys?" I shouted at them. 

Shock covered there faces. "The only reason you brought me back was so you didnt need to feel guilty about loving eachother." I said getting my bags. Jay following right behind me. "Mal." Evie shouted. "You got your wish you got the prince. That stuff doesnt matter to me anymore. I'll take my pirate that works every single day to make sure we have food. The one who taught me how to fight, even tho i was better then him." I giggled to myself. "The one who comes home with dirty covering his nails and his hair, because the look on his face when he comes home to see me is worth every thing to me. Evie, i'm leaving." I shouted. 

The guards still held there position. "Jay." I said handing him my bags. "This is your last chance." I warned Ben. He just looked at me tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry." He said. I shook my head. "No i'm sorry." I said as i sudddenly felt my body shifting into the form i hated the most. I stretched out my wings as the guards ran backwards. I looked at Jay and bend down one wing. He climbs up with the bags and came to my back. He held tight as i started to flap to take up in the air. 

"Mal." Ben shouted at me. I didnt look back i just sored across the water to the small ledge right outside the main gates of the Isle. I got to the ground and let jay off before turning back into my human form. "Wow we are so doing that again."  He said fixing his hair. I laughed. We could get back with out a spel they just cant come out. "Jay once we go in there i dont think we can go back." I said to him. He nodded. "I know, and you know what thats okay." He said taking a deep breath in and grabbing my hand as we walked in together. 

As soon as i did, i felt more like myself. People could heard the ripple of the sheild as we walked in so they hurry up. I saw Uma and Gil running towards me. I opened up my arms and jumped into theirs. "Oh my god, i missed you." I said to them holding them tight. "We missed you too." Uma said. "Ya i miss you bossing me around, you're a lot nicer." Gil laughed. Uma lightly hitting him. "Where is he?" I asked them. "I'm right here." He deep accented voice said. I had to take a deep breath. I turned around and saw him. He was in his nices suit, leather of course. Red leather covering his legs and his chest, with the sleeves cut off. 

"Oh my god." I whispered. "Nope, before you do or say anything. I've been waiting a long time for this." he said as he got down on one knee. "You told me that i wasn't allowed to ask you until i saw you next and i knew the moment i was going to see you that i wanted to do it. Mal, we've been through it all. The weird, the bad, the ugly, even the worse. But now you're back. And my god i've missed you and never want to leave your side again. I'm ready for the good, the best and the amazing with you. So Mal, will you marry me, Harry." He said. I couldnt stop crying. I pictured and dreamed about this moment for a long time. 

"Of course." I cried as he put the ring on my finger. It was a small little dimond, it was perfect. He got up and i jumped into his arms smashing my lips to his. Its like no one else the world was there. Just the two of us. My hands tangeled in his hair. So perfectly we fight. "I'm never letting you go." I whispered between the kiss. His hands on my back pressing me to him. 

Our friends around us cheering, took me out of the daze i was in. I small bite of sadness came over at me when i only saw one of my three closes friends celebrating with me. Jay could read my face as he brought me into a hug. "Shhhh, dont think how your thinking right now. You just got engaged." He shouted. I smiled through a few tears. "And i hope he knows i'll kick his ass if he hurts you." Jay shouted at Harry who was with our other friends. "Dont worry Mate. She'll kick my ass first." He said coming over to us. I clung to Harry my arms wrapped around his neck. 

"I'm so happy for the two of you." Jay said putting his hand on Harry shoulder. "You left why?" Harry asked him. Jay shurged. "Mals Family, and i didnt like the way that they were treating her. It was supost to be a better life there. In reality, all you need is some great people." He said. "Well dont worry, we got a tone of that here." Gil said wrapping his arm around Jay. "We really do." He whispered looking back over the water. 

"So whos helping me plan the wedding?"
