What Happens in the Isle, Stays in the Isle

Chapter 14

Flash back. 

"look at that beautiful sun set." I whispered to Harry as we laid down on the dock, his arms wrapped around me as we watched it go down. "The second most beautiful thing around." He whispered into my ear kissing my cheek. I blushed. "This is so perfect, isnt it perfect?" I said to my world. He laughed and nodded. "ITs so perfect my love. I wouldnt want to be anywhere else. The best part, piece and quiet." He said realeing a deep breath. 

"Mal, Harry. The kings here." Gils loud voice rang. We turned around. "What?" I asked him. "And evie, and carlos and Jay. I think a few guards too. But i ran to your house and you weren't there, so i had to like sit and think about it for a second, but then i remembered, you said you were going to have a nice relaxin evening by the docks. so i came here next and, well here you are. Oh ya the King wants Mal." He said out of breath. I looked at my lover. "Hes here to take me back." I whispered. Harry wrapped his arms protectivly around me. "He is not taking you back." He said. "Gil, go distract them why we get back to our house." He said. Gil nodded and ran back as we stood up and grabbed our blankets. 

"Harry, i dont want to go back." I said as i started to pannick. "I know, i wont let them take you." He said grabbing my hand as we started to run. Gil did a good job at distracting. I couldnt hear what he was tlaking about, but it was confusing all of them. It was perfect because we got back to the house in no time. He locked the door right away and just stared at me. "They are going to want to talk to you." He said. I nodded. "I know that, but i dont know what to tell them." I whispered. 

"You are going to tell them, that you have a life here on the Isle. That you really started to build it up. That if you leave all the work you've put in will be for nothing." He said. I nodded. "Okay, i think that will work, but you have to stay here. I've never actually broken up with Ben so i have to go do that. I love you." I said wrapping my arms aorund him and bringing him into a kiss. "I love you too. Now stay strong. I will be here waiting." He said kissing my head. I took a deep breath before unlocking the door. "Lock it behind me." I told him. He rolled his eyes. "I always do love." 

I walked down stairs where Gil was still tlaking to them. "Gil." I called over. Before he could say anything i i held my finbger up to my lips, so he would just stop talking and not ruin anything. "Gotta go." he said disapearing inside the dinner. "Mal." Evie shouted at me running to me.  I did miss my best friend. Soon Carlos and Jay where with us in the hug. "I missed you all." I said to them. "We missed you too Mal. We wanted to come sooner, but we had to convince the guards." Carlos said. "GUys can't breath." I struggled. They all let go and out of the corner of my eye i saw Ben. He ran up to me, but i felt so weird. My boyfriend was upstairs probably watching this. 

I brought him into a hug. "Ben." He lifted me up and twirled me around. "I missed you so much." He said. Totally lie i thought. "I missed you too, what are you guys doing here?" I asked them. "We are here to bring you back." Ben said. "Oh." I said sighing. "What?" Evie asked. "I dont want to go back." I said. Good start mal. I'm mentally high fiving myself.  

"What do you mean you dont want to go back?" Evie asked in disbelif. "I want to stay here on the Isle." I said shifting my weihgt from foot to foot. There was a good minute of silence.  "I've build a good life here actually. If i leave now everythings going to fall apart." I said to them. "What could you of possible have here that you can't have at Auradon?" Evie asked me. Harry.  I mentally groaned. 

"Just i've worked really hard on cleaning up around here. Uma and i are getting along now, and we are cleaning up the garbage on the street. Really working hard. If i leave there no way that they are going to keep it like this." I said. "We can work on it from Auradon. Mal, come on we dont want to be here any long then we half too." Ben said going to grab my hand. I quickly pulled it back. "Ben, i said i didnt want to go." I stated. "Woah, okay. Lets just go talk about it." Carlos said stepping in. 

"Fine, come on, i know a place." I whispered as i lead them away from our home.
