Play the song, babies!
The music blasted in the background and I danced in my skin tight black dress under the flashing lights. The contestants danced around in the centre of the hall.
The upbeat music is deafening and hypnotising, making everyone sway and move at the party concluding the competition.
At a moment as I danced with Jennie, I feel a hand on my waist and abruptly turn around to see Leo.
"Can I take you away for the night?" He says in my ear. I nod and turn to Jennie to tell her that I am leaving.
He holds on to my hand and leads me through the back door of the hall to the stairs.
We laugh and run up to his room. We push open the empty room and lock the door immediately. We puts our hands around each other, drunk by the atmosphere. We share a quick kiss before we sit down.
The room is dark but there is a dim glow from the window illuminating part of it.
"It reminds of the workshop." He says, slowly inching towards me.
"It does. But I feel drunk this time." I say with a laugh.
"Well someone did pour alcohol into the punch." He states.
"Really?" I say. "Maybe that's why."
"It wasn't me though." He immediately adds. "By the way, I told my roommate, I need the room for the night. He is gonna go to his friend's room for tonight.
"Ohh." I say, surprised. "Wow!"
"Thought we could spend it together." His voice drops low as his knees touch mine.
"Ohh." I lower my face as I feel my skin burn up. "Sounds fun."
He takes off his tie and throws it away. The air grows thick with tension as we sit in silence, our bodies gently touching.
I feel my hands move up and free my hair from my usual ponytail. I shake my head and put the tie around my wrist.
I put my hands around his neck and pull him close till I can feel his breath on my skin. I place my lips against his and kiss him gently.
His hands snake around my body and press me against his. I whisper as we pause, "I love you."
I feel his smile against my skin and he whispers back. "I love you too."
His hand moves through my hair and pulls me more. We fall back onto the soft mattress.
The music slowly fades out as I feel the high again. My senses tingle with a familiar flame.
Okayyyy ..... so I think I want more chapters to end this so more chapters, honey! It's a subtle story but I hope you guys enjoyed it!
