Snapshots of Prison

Over his time in prison, I obtained a number of photographs of Tobias MacClain. As my own equipment was not permitted on the ground, I did have to take some liberties with the prison security systems, which I will not go into detail about.

Before his escape, Viola Mae Reed visited a handful of times, though was mostly unsuccessful in obtaining the attention of Tobias. He refused many visits, until she forced the guards to take her to his cell directly. She brought coffee.

He had missed coffee.

We met first a little bit after her first successful meet. He explained that she desired to pay his bail, and was adamant that he did not want her involved--which led to further avoidance. He was also very cross with her, what with how she foiled everything he had worked towards and hit him unfairly over the head.

Tobias only agreed to meet with Viola Mae once, after her first offering of a take-away coffee--with cream, not milk. His demands were as follows:

- wine.

(Of course, wine was not permitted, which led to Tobias suggesting the sippy cup as a trick device. It worked. It also increased speculation of the press and made a headline.)

- cafe, outside of prison

- no talk of bail

He failed to mention to anyone that there was no need for bail

He failed to mention to anyone that there was no need for bail. His powers were stronger than ever after so much time meditating alone in a cell. The future was clear. Escape, with the help of a few "means to an end" villains and poms, would be a cinch.

No one saw it coming, not even I.

Weeks after the event, the five prisoners involved were found in an unconscious heap outside a prop station. Their powers no longer seemed to work.

On their pile was a crudely shaped origami dinosaur, of notebook paper. Unfolded, it read;

There will be no need to worry about these former villains ever again.

 Best regards,

Tobias MacClain
