( it's the last chapter of this book. But it's not fully the end. I loved writing this book and I hope that all of you enjoyed it. I'm thinking about making a sequel to this book. But that just depends on if people really like this book or not.)

Chapter Seven

It was the 5th grade dance. I was dressed up in my new dress my mom bought me. My mom was doing my hair and make up as we waited for Adam to show up. We heard a knock on the door and seconds later my mother and I heard my sister's voice.

"Don't you look handsome Adam." She said from the other room.

"Thank you. Is Jessica ready?" Adam asked her.

"Just about." I screamed out at him. Once my mom was done with my hair and makeup, I walked into the living room to see Adam sitting on my couch with a blue rose in his hands. He looked up from the floor and smiled at me. He got up from the couch and walked towards me handing me the rose in his hand. I blushed.

"You look really petty." He said looking at me up and down.

"Thank you. You look great as well." I said smiling at him before we left to go to our school dance. Once we got there it was packed. Everyone grades 5-8 were there. Adam took my hand and led me to the dance floor. We did some crazy and silly dance moves as more and more pop songs came on. Suddenly we heard a slow song come on. I looked at Adam to see if it was okay if we danced to it. He grabbed my arms and put them around his neck and he put his hands at my waist. We swayed along to the song as it played. Both of us enjoying the moment. Once the song was over Adam grabbed my hand and took me outside to a bench.

"What are we doing out here?" I asked him as we sat down. He took my hand in his.

"There's something I've always wanted to tell you," He started and I started to feel myself consumed with nerves.

"What is it Adam?" I asked him. He looked me directly in the eyes before closing in placing a kiss to my cheek. I looked away once he pulled away and felt myself blush and butterflies start to swarm my stomach.

"I like you Jessica. I know we are young but one day will you promise to be my girlfriend." Adam asked, looking at me with hopeful eyes. I nodded my head as a huge grin plastered my face.

"Yes! Yes! Of course." I said before hugging him.

I woke up from my dream with a smile on my face. I looked at my night stand and saw the paper that Adam gave me when he dropped me off. It was his number. I grabbed my phone and called the number, saving it to my phone.

"Hello?" He asked once he answered.

"Hey, it's Jess." I said nervously walking around my room.

    "Hey Jess. What's up?"

"Well I was wondering what you had planned for your last day." I said.

"Actually I was thinking we go dancing." He said laughing.

    "Oh where?" I asked him.

"Well that is a surprise. Get dressed up and I'll be there in a few hours." He said before hanging up. I did as he said. I got dressed up in a fancy dress, curled my hair and put on some makeup. I waited another hour before Adam showed up at my front door in a tux.

"You dress up nicely." I said jokingly.

"And you look beautiful." He said taking out his hand from behind his back. In his hand was a bouquet. I gasped.
