ch. 2- Competing For UA

Evelyn's pov:

I look around me, there are a bunch of people with quirks and sometimes suits to match. I figure I would save my male demon form later because that would be weird for others if a girl becomes a man. It tires me out quickly to work two quirks for I can only do about 15 minutes. The buzzer goes off and I make everything around me, to my limit ( 15 ft) which while I am running is enough to make everyone a lot slower than I am. Those who got left behind are going different ways. I try to enhance my darkness using some of my siren's powers. I ended up enhancing it to about 25 ft. I should take it up to 40 ft if I'm emotional and 30-35 if I'm singing. I suddenly see a robot that's worth three points and a two-pointer nearby.  I decide to start singing now because the faster I am, the more robots and points I'd get. The thing about my power, Is that I sing whatever is in my heart so I come up with original songs. ( But for real I use songs that other people have come up with.) Right now after fighting a couple of bots I know have tallied up fifteen points. I can get about 50 points if I use all three, and that's what I need to get first place to make my father proud, or at least smile. I stop and grab a bunch of bots rallying them to be around me. I make all around me dark as I start to sing.

( with this over here >, I am doing this as I sing those lyrics up there ^) A few bots reach for me but I jump over the arms and my light and dark spirits make a show. The shadows make a river and I transform into my full siren form.

And I will not negotiate

The shadows make a tree that zooms to the roots which seem to go down forever until It changes and you suddenly see and the roots have wrapped all around the bots straining them. The river moves with me as My siren bites off and pulls apart the bots. More bots come as they see me do to light being the background this time instead of the dark I continue to sing.

I'll fight it, I'll fight it

I fight those bots but one comes in my direction, but I don't have enough time to get out of the way. It slams me into a building and fire seeps at my feet as a bot nearby explodes. Some pieces get stuck into my skin making me bleed. My siren then floats and the water disappears, it glows and I feel my enhancer enhancing all my skills.

And the vultures all start circling
They're whispering, you're out of time
But still, I rise

Some bots have come around me, waiting to make their move. I see some other students running to kill them hoping for some points. I rise above the bots and above the students seeing almost the entire base. Im tired and I'm losing energy fast, but I still rise. I black out the students and the bots with me shining like a spotlight on a stage using Light.

This is no mistake, no accident
When you think the final nail is in, think again
Don't be surprised, I will still rise

I think of my father thinking of me winning against him being an accident that he did, a mistake but I was angered at the thought. Every time he beat me, put me to the ground. I still rose to try again and to train and defeat him.

I must stay conscious
Through the madness and chaos
So I call on my angels

As I defeat some bots I don't realize my shadow has dimmed back to 10 ft because of my exhaustion until I feel a huge no pointer bot hit me on the head. I fly into a building and the shadows disappear. My vision is fading and I grab the ground and I spit out blood in my mouth. I see all the students flee knowing its no points as I am left in the ground stuck under a piece of building that looks like part of a wall. My siren form is gone and I'm left with my normal form. My eyes glow and Light and Dark appear and they sing

I feel the adrenalin rush in my veins and I use them to get me out of the rock. The big Robot notices me. I just about to flee because I need to be first when I see the Robot hadn't noticed me but a boy who was fighting a small bot next to me. He finishes it off but he doesn't seem to notice it. The Big no pointer picks him up and squeezes. He cries for help but the students look up and run away, ignoring the boy's cries. I breathe hard, he asks for help, what kind of hero's are they?! My eyes glow and I sing again.

And be transformed

I am transformed into a hybrid mix of all my forms. My horns are showing long, my wings are out, my skin is read and one eye is glowing black and the blind one is glowing white, my shadows. The shadows are circling me in a ball as my siren tail forms instead of a demon one. My teeth are sharp like a Siren and my ears are pointed. My gills are visible now and My long hair is dark purple like my Siren.

The robot tries to hit me with his free hand but I easily doge it. I use light and dark to make a big sword, in which I slash the Robot's arm off which frees the boy. He tries to run but the bot pushes me to the ground and I grunt. He tries to hit the boy, but I use my speed and wings combined to get hit instead. My wings look bent out of shape and I'm on the ground. My arms are burning, looking at them now they are on fire, now more relying on my demon fire than the form itself. The boy runs away looking for more points when I hear a one-minute warning.  I rise up from the ground and sense broken, my wings can't fade away without severely damaging them. I see a large piece of glass in my arm and I yank it out screaming. I drop the shard and I walk towards the robot singing proudly.

My eyes start to glow again and my claws grow out.  This Robot wouldn't stop me, I know that and I will make sure EVERYONE knows that too.  I run towards him now and I rise in the air making air platforms and jumping to a higher one. I go around him making it circle around looking for me. It bumps into buildings trying to keep up. I finally land on the robot's head. I take my claws and climb to its neck, there I yell out one of the moves I have made, " Head Slicer" in which I literally slice the head off of the robot's body. Some of my claws have broken and I'm bleeding a lot. The Robot falls and I start to fade away. I fall towards the floor. I don't think I have any energy left until a boy dashing towards me. He then extends his elbows and outcomes tape I think. It wraps around and pulls me closer to him, in which it catches me. In his arms, I instantly fall asleep.
