DAY 4

Dear diary,

I'm glad I found you. I needed someone to talk to .You might have thought that I was going through therapy when I wrote that I needed someone to talk to. But that's not the case here. I am the only survivor of this planet. I know it sounds crazy but that's the truth. About four days ago at around 4pm when I was asleep something unknown happened. When I got up my mum was not home. I am used to mum not being home but that day it didn't feel right. But anyways I got up from bed and went to get some fruits to eat. When I went to get some fruits I realized that my brother's plate was not in the sink. I was not used to my brother's plate not being in the sink. So I went up to his room to check on him but I couldn't find him. His schoolbag was on the floor as usual and his headphones were on his seat and on the table was his plate. He hadn't finished lunch. I anyways picked his plate and washed it. I then tried calling my mum but then found her phone in her very room. Her dressing table was a mess. That was very unusual of my mother. My mother dear diary is a very strict woman when it comes to cleaning and keeping things back at its place. Well I was ok with her not being around as I get some time to do what I want. Well at 7'o' clock I got a little worried as no one came home and my dad normally used to come home at 6:30 pm. But he was not home too. So I went to my neighbour to see if she knew anything. But she didn't open the door. So I went down to ask the security guard about my mum and my neighbour but he was not their either. Well I got a bit scared when I didn't see the security guard there because he is always there. I went back home and ate the leftover cake from my dad's birthday 2 days ago from that dreadful afternoon. I waited for them to return on the couch in the living room but then fell asleep on it. The next day I got up to find no one at home. I got real scared. I again went and knocked on my neighbour's door. I banged the door thrice. I fidgeted with her doorknob and the door opened very easily. She was not home either she seemed to have disappeared just like my family. I got cold. I went and knocked on every door in the building. I got very scared diary. I dashed back home hoping all my neighbours and my family would be there laughing over their victory of making a fool out of me. But diary they were not there. I went back in my room thinking it was a dream and thought that if I slept in my dream this would all be over. You know dear diary that a part of me disagreed that this was a dream. But I had to give it a try. So I slept again. And got up when it was dark. I shouted for mum from my room but she didn't come inside. So I went out again and they were still not there. I then heard the main entrance door shut loudly and I went cold as ice. I don't know what happened to me there but the next thing I know is that I was running. I left the door open ajar and went down using the stairs. I got out of the building and saw that the cars were parked in between the roads. I went towards the highway and my heart skipped a beat and then I felt as if something pierced through it as I realized that 'I WAS THE ONLY PERSON LEFT ON EARTH PROBABLY'

Yours,

Aria
