Day 12

Dear diary,

Well we found someone Enola knew. Kungawo is his name. He is about 13 years old. When he couldn't find his parents and neighbors he came running towards Enola but found that she was not there. He decided on living here thinking Enola might come back. Enola and he seem to be very close.

BaoGem is very happy to have a company. Enola's house is not very big but it is very nice and cozy. She had a very young brother. Her parents were both doctors. Her house is filled with family pictures. She seems to be happy to be back home. But she knows that she will have to leave it soon. I like Enola. She is very helpful. I think I trust her and hence my second decision is made.

Now I have to see if I can trust Kungawo. He is a bit too harsh. He is very particular about things. I volunteered to help him cook today. He shouted at me like 300 times. I got soo pissed at him. I hate him already. Enola apologized from his side and I said it was ok. IT'S OK!!!!!! SRSLY HE GETS ON MY FRIKIN NERVES. Bossy. Even I am not as mean and bossy as he is. God. Enola said that he was a bit short-tempered.

BaoGem also doesn't like him. He said that Kungawo reminded him of his best friend's best friend. I laughed when he said best friend's best friend. He said that he didn't have true friends. He said that he had a bunch of fake friends. Even I confessed that I didn't have many friends and I was in the same position as he is. Our friends took us for granted. They used us when they want something. I even confessed that I was jealous of Enola and Kungawo. BaoGem said that he was jealous of them too. He said that they are true friends and it means a lot to have a true friend. I said the same. I think I found a true friend dear diary – BaoGem. I feel nice to be around him. He is very kind and understanding. He is fun.

BaoGem said that my determination to find the last survivors is great. He gave me a paper with this written on it
