DAY 15

Dear Diary,

I am shocked that Kungawo could let go of his house sooooo easily. I think he understood the danger but still, that was really nice of him. He didn't argue and just went with the flow and I think I trust him now. He is not as bad as I thought.

Anyways the library is very dark because there is no sunlight anymore. It is dark due to the smoke during the day. Because it was dark we went around the city in search of candles. We found 378 types of candles. Some of them smell amazing, some of them smell horrible and some of them don't give out any type of smell.

We still couldn't crack a word written in Jacobus's journal. UGH. We still haven't figured out the language with which the carving was written. God this shit is frustrating and messed up completely. I hate it. I hate the fact that the world ended leaving me. I am not special. I can't even run. I am always the second last person to come in any race. One of my fake friends was

fast. Like really fast.

BaoGem, Enola, and Kungawo went stargazing. I am in no mood to go stargazing. I am pretty sure it is going to bring out a lot of stories from my childhood.I can remember me and grandpa climbing up a hill for about 15 minutes and lying on the bear grass and looking into the sky and talking about stars. My grandpa always used to point at the brightest star in the sky and used to say that it was my grandma.

The stargazers are back. BaoGem said that there were many stars in the sky. I think I will go and stargaze after all. But first, let them all go to bed.

Dear diary, the stars were amazing. I could see grandma. And I could see grandpa right beside her. I could see mum, dad, and my brother around them. I could feel them telling me to be strong and that they love me a lot. I cried. I am not strong. BaoGem interrupted in between. He said he knew I would come here. He held me in his arms and we sat there gazing into the night sky.

I am really glad that I have BaoGem as my friend.

Yours,

Aria
