A D-Date!?

I can't believe I straight out said that to kuroo, who do i think I am? Asking my crush...I mean! My best friend out on what seems to now be a date, what does he think all about this?! I mean he did wink at me so maybe that means that he liked the idea, yeah t-that makes sense Right?!? I hope so.

For the first time I had slept through the whole night, I feel really awake but now I'm really worried because it's almost time for the "date" and I can't help but imagine us together. I keep checking the clock as I change clothes and play some games on my switch, suddenly the time comes and I'm totally not ready but I decide to just go on the dumb date, it's not like it's a real one anyway.

I walk out and I see kuroo in a tux outfit, as he grins and looks me up and down "so....not a real date huh? Well I sure thought it was" I look at him confused as I stand next to him and look at my slightly open window "eh! Y-you were listening to me the whole time!! And you watched me change!" I look at him as my cheeks turn slightly red, he smirks and shrugs "m-maybe! Anyway let's get going kenma~ wouldn't wanna be late for the 'fake date' that you planned" I shove him to the side as we get going to a ice cream shop a few blocks away.

I can't believe this idiot is actually going along with me on this fake date, as he puts it, well then I guess I can get one thing off my mind. He clearly doesn't like me in any way other than a partner and a friend which is nice...I guess..jeez! Why am I so sad about that!  I should be happy but I guess I kind of want this to be a real date and I guess I want him to really like me.

He smirks at a couple of girls who pass by us and they all just giggle and walk away as he laughs and looks at me "..hey kenma? Aren't you having fun?"
I wake up and nod "oh! Yeah, I'm having a good time and you should finish your ice cream 'cause it's melting onto your hand" he realizes and panics to find a napkin, I giggle a little and he smiles "cute." I hear him say...or maybe he said something else but whatever.

It starts to get dark soon so I look at kuroo and tell him that I should get going but he grabs my hand and we start running to the park nearby, except there isn't anyone there but for us, I look at kuroo confused "what are we doing here?" he smiles and we go deeper into the park we face a big fountain which is so beautiful with its clear water and it's gold highlights which seemed to even glow. I look at kuroo as he smiled and ran to sit on a bench in front of the fountain, he looked over at me and patted down next to him for me to sit, I grinned and ran over as I sat down I felt so happy "hey kuroo thanks for taking me to this place, it's amazing" he nods and looks up.

I look at him and then look up too as I see a big sign tied up to a nearby tree, I feel so happy but my body shakes a bit as I smile wide and tears start to slide down my cheeks, kuroo smiles and hugs me tightly "kenma...don't be sad..it's the truth and I knew that I had to tell you at one point."
