Finally, the jet landed and Y/N perked up from her seat. She was anxious to get started, but to get a thorough profile they would have to either get more victims, or understand what the stressor was for the unsub.

Hotch organized everybody around. "Reid, Morgan, Y/N, I want you to go to the M.E." He said sternly, then everybody else got their position as well.

Morgan got up from his seat and Spencer quickly followed. Y/N looked a bit worried because both of her coworkers she was with were pretty tall. So, she assumed they would probably walk fast.

Y/N jumped out of her seat and caught up to the two. "Please don't walk so fast.." She mumbled, taking a few breaths. Morgan heard her and laughed a bit. Reid didn't even have to think before a fact slipped out from his mouth.

"Studies found that the average American adult only makes it about halfway to a goal of 10,000 steps per day. Considered to this little time right now, I'd say you're walking too slow." He said, like it easily came into the top of his head.

"Alright boy wonder, take it easy on the facts. She's new here, don't want to freak her out." Morgan told the doctor, and Spencer just sighed, nodding his head.

After a couple of minutes they reached the pitch black car and made a ride to the station, where they were directed to the M.E's office. Everybody else was set up and either off to the crime scene, or trying to make a geographical profile.

Y/N walked in front of Morgan and Reid, just so she didn't have to catch up later. Once they entered the M.E's office there was a reeking smell that she'd probably never forget. She walked to one of the more recent victims.

Morgan took charge of the conversations. "So my team and I thought that maybe the stabbing was postmortem. Is that true?" He asked, and the coroner nodded, and then grabbed his clipboard.

"The tox screen shows high levels of Ketamine in all victims." Morgan and Reid both turned over to Y/N, confused on how she could even guess that.

"Nature didn't do a lot to the victims, which is surprising. The stab wounds are more fresh than the slit throat. The throat is already going through the decomposition stages." The coroner said, looking through his notes.

Spencer gave his information that he had stored. "Usually stages of decomposition start 24-72 hours after the victim is killed. Morgan, the unsub revisited the sight." Reid said to his coworker.

Y/N felt like she wasn't being acknowledged by the boy wonder. That's what Morgan called him. They all exited as a group. "Reid, could I ask you a question?" She asks, and Spencer nodded.

"Well back in the M.E's office you weren't really acknowledging me. Like you were more directed towards Morgan. I get that I'm new but we have to work as a whole team on this case." Y/N said strongly and confidently.

Spencer gave a small smile. "I apologize for my behavior." He spoke softly, almost like he was inviting you to the team once more.

Morgan started to become skeptical, but he could talk to Reid after this case. Everyone regrouped and started to chat about what they found.

Spencer looked at the geographical profile and erased it. "Spence, why'd you do that?" JJ asked eagerly. Reid then made a new one, that was at least 10 miles from where the bodies were found.

"Unless there are shacks in the middle of the desert, we have to expand our range." He spoke, and then turned towards the team.

"I think we might have to deliver the profile this early. This might turn into a spree." Hotch said, and then lead the team into an open space for them to share what they had learned.
