Awaking from her few hours, Y/N was surprisingly active and excited. Having to deal with dead bodies wasn't fun but being around people who made you feel comfortable was.

Obviously, she felt the most comfortable around Spence. Once in a while she would mock him and call him pretty boy. It had only been a day, but she felt that she had created some bonds already.

Y/N rolled over to check the new case file she got sent at 12 AM last night. Luckily, she got to sort of sit this one out. Most of the time she'd be at the safety of a computer screen. She did her daily morning routine, except with more energy.

She was glad to see her friends, less excited to see dead bodies. Off to the BAU, once again walking. Somebody had happened to take her car yesterday. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway. A few minutes passed.

Greeted once again with the building, it brought a smile to Y/N's face. She entered with confidence for a change. The first person she went to was Garcia. The computer tech chatted with her a bit.

"So, What do you think of Reid?" Penelope asked, as if she was a matchmaker. "My professional opinion is that he is very hard working and intelligent in his job." Y/N replied as any co-worker should.

Before they both knew, it was time to inform the others on what had happened to the case. Another body had dropped. The team hadn't paid much attention to the case. Garcia and herself hurried to the conference room.

"Okay, another body has dropped in the humid climate of Florida." One yap of the button and a horrific scene of four dead women popped on the screen. "All different ages, and races." Y/N pointed out, biting on her pen.

Spencer looked over at her, surprised she said that before he did. More details of the case were thrown around the room, before a familiar phrase was heard. "Wheels up in 30." Hotch said firmly.

Y/N gathered the case file and headed to her desk quickly. She grabbed the travel bag and put some extra stuff in, including a laptop she had forgotten. "Hey, nice work on noticing that." Callahan said to her, patting her on the back.

She gave a rough smile, zipping the bag up. She threw it over her shoulder, and then walked to Garcia's office once more. Suddenly, more questions about Reid were getting thrown at her. "Penelope, stop!"

Giggling, Y/N deep down knew that under all of the professional opinions, she liked Reid as more than a friend. But, she would never show it. She also knew he had many other girls he could get easily with that intelligent brain.

Garcia was just giving her a hard time, before handing her a little necklace. "A good luck charm. You fit the profile of all of these victims. Just something to look out for." She cupped the hands on Y/N, as they exchanged warm smiles.

She exited the office, walking with the others to the jet. How Penelope passed so much time, she didn't know. All she knew was that there was a small possibility that something could go wrong in the case.
