After the jet had landed, Y/N quickly wiped her tears away, clearing her throat. "Sorry Reid. That was unprofessional of me." She apologized, and as he stood up she finally got up from her seat.

"Y/N, you don't have to apolo-" He got cut off by Hotch telling the whole team something. "If you all know, we need to do some serious paperwork. We've been behind lately." He explained to the team, then they all got off the jet as one big group.

JJ and Callahan approached Y/N, wanting to talk about Spencer. Of course, on the first day she witnessed somebody get murdered then gets bombarded with questions. "Guys." Rossi spoke up, looking at the girl group.

Kate nodded and walked away with JJ, as Morgan than approached Y/N. Except, somewhat sympathetic. "I know a lot of people will have questions about your relationships in the team already, but I hope that head of yours isn't thinking too much."

He told her playfully, messing up her hair. She got out a small laugh and felt a bit better. "Thanks Derek." She called him by his first name, and they started to actually become friends.

Rossi was a bit confused on how they were talking, then caught up to the lanky Spencer. "You should join their conversation." He gave advice to Reid, as they continued to walk to the SUVs.

The doctor looked back and felt pity for himself. He took David's advice and joined the conversation. It was effortless talking to Y/N, and once they got into the SUVs, the conversations didn't stop.

They were two astute minds thinking as one. Sadly though, once they returned to the BAU building, everyone knew what was coming. A hurricane of paperwork and files. Y/N looked over to see the reaction of Spence.

To her surprise, he actually looked somewhat happy. "Statistical-" He didn't finish his statistic because everyone had already left the SUV. "Really guys?" He said to his friends that were in the SUV.

Morgan chuckled as Y/N giggled. It was going to be a long night, and she assumed they would all eventually need a whole jug of coffee. "I used to work in a coffee shop. I'll go make some actual good coffee." She announced.

Reid was a bit confused as she walked off. "What's wrong with the coffee here?" He asked Morgan, but he just shrugged. The duo walked inside and sat down at their own desks, looking at the stack of yellow files.

Morgan groaned loudly and grabbed a pen, starting to jot down things. Spencer however, moved at least 3 times his speed. Y/N walked back with the coffee and set it down on both of their desks, then sat down at her own.

She studied one folder closely, and was honestly bewildered. Her desk was already chaotic enough. Coffee might not have been enough to get through those files. She looked at all of her coworkers jotting things down.

She was new, how could they just throw her into the deep end like this? Y/N took a deep breath then tapped Reid's shoulder. "Spence.. can you help me with the files? They're confusing to me." She admitted shameless, grabbing some files and rolling her chair to his desk.

Spencer was surprised with the sudden movement and even had a trace of blush on his face. He quickly read over the file she had, then gave her some pointers. They worked through each file together, until they were done.

Y/N exhaled in victory, then looked around the office. "Nobody's here." She pointed out the obvious. Reid shook his head and rolled his eyes. "You need a ride home?" He asked politely, showing his car keys.

She nodded desperately and he walked her to his car. She got in and gave directions to Spence, and he followed them without hesitation. "Alright then. Goodnight Y/N!" He shouted out as he saw her figure slowly fade into the darkness of the night.
