Ever since she was little, Y/N has always dreamed of helping people. Whether that be a firefighter, a policeman, or even a solider. She wanted a job where they could help those in need.
She groaned as the alarm clock in their bedroom strung out it's annoying noise. She turned her head, rubbing their eyes. "Shut up.." She mumbled, her hand going and stopping the clock.
Getting out of bed, Y/N ruffled around in her closet and found something appropriate to wear on the first day of work. From what she knew, she was coming after a rough time for a lot of the members.
Y/N assumed that she would learn later on, so she didn't stray from her morning routine. Once done with personal hygiene and getting dressed, she ate some breakfast. Apparently the team was cutting her some slack even on the first day.
She had reached out to one of the members, Penelope Garcia. She had probably been the nicest so far. She chatted with her a bit, discussing the crazy hours.
Noticing the time, Y/N rushed out of their house. She looked around and couldn't find her car. "What?! Are you serious?!" She exclaimed, then decided to run.
Besides, she would probably need to training for later arrests. She started to run, trying to remember exactly where the BAU office was. She couldn't remember and in the process of running, bumped into somebody.
"Ack! I-I'm so sorry." The person Y/N seemed concerned, but brushed it off. "Oh. You're that newbie to our team right?" She looked up and noticed it was SSA Rossi.
"Oh my- sir! I'm really sorry that you had to informally meet me like this." Rossi laughed it off, and continued to walk. Y/N perked up and quickly walked next to Rossi.
"Aren't you concerned you're going to be late? I mean this is technically your team. Along with Agent Hotchner of course." She explained, overthinking it. David shook his head. "Don't worry about it kid. You know what, I think I know the perfect person for you." He assured her, and after a couple of minutes, they arrived.
Y/N looked at the building, preparing herself. "This should be a rollercoaster.." She muttered to herself. But, she held their head high, and walked into the BAU.
Judging glances were shot her way. She was nervous, and Penelope pulled her to the side. "Eek!" She shouted, then Penelope gripped her by the shoulders. "Alright, whatever you do, do not ask about Maeve or Gideon to Reid. He'll open up eventually."
Y/N was confused. "Alright. I promise." She promised, then Garcia walked her to the round table. There waiting was Rossi, Hotch, Reid, Morgan, JJ, and Callahan. She looked around nervously, then introduced herself.
"Hi. My name is Y/N, and I'm new to the team. Obviously. I'm glad to meet you all but let's get past the greetings and get to the case." She said sternly, sitting down in the only open chair left.
She noticed Morgan a bit happy, maybe because she didn't waste anytime. She assumed she would be the main topic for a long time.
