The gazed of the moons's gentle rays felt nice against Nishinoya's skin as he laid in the tender field of grass. The pleasant breeze tickled his nose as he stared at the stars and clouds, enjoying the calming of nature's music. Just him and his freedom.

Once again, it has been almost a week since Nishinoya's rebellion against heaven and came down to earth. He knows he should go back, but the angel can't help and want to stay for eternity. Hell is a risk he was willing to take to be here. And Shoyo, oh Shoyo. That boy alone has shackled the angel to earth more than anything. He wasn't sure why quite yet, but he feels like fate brought them together. Man, this sounds like one of those corny soulmate stories Shoyo told me about. Nishinoya giggled softly at his thoughts.

He glanced at the sky once more, seeing images in the clouds. They were all Shoyo. Nishinoya smiled softly at the images of the boy smiling and laughing away, like an angel. He raised his arm upwards and reached towards the smiling cloud. "You never seem to fade, do you Shoyo?" He whispered softly.

As Nishinoya gently lowered his arm back onto his chest, something clicked inside of him. His soul felt like it started to form a tornado in his heart. He sat up and stared at his feet, "Holy shit." He muttered. "Maybe.."

A giggle raised in his lungs, "I'm in love with Shoyo!" He laughed thinking of how stupid he was.

He was in love with a human. A beautiful boy. Being in love with a human is a sin in itself, but a human boy, that just adds onto it. And if Nishinoya were to be honest, he didn't care. If he were to be put into hell for love, then so be it.

Nishinoya got to his feet and sucked a giant scoop of air into his lungs before skipping back towards Shoyo's house. When he arrived, the angel flung open the door and pranced inside.

"Shoyo! Are you home?" He called into the home.
When Nishinoya didn't get a response he figured the ginger was still at work, but he checked the house anyway to be sure.

He checked the kitchen, the living room, main bathroom, and the basement. Nothing. He walked past Shoyo's bedroom and saw the boy pacing back and forth. Nishinoya was about to greet him but he noticed Shoyo was speaking into one of those small talking boxes. He paused and hid himself around the corner of the doorway.

"I know," Shoyo spoke into the device. "But, can we plan it for a later date? I know it's going to be a big day but I don't know, I just feel bwah about the whole thing.."

Nishinoya tilted his head in confusion as he listened to the one side conversation.

Who is he talking to?

"Please, I just need a little bit more time to process everything."

"I know I asked you, but-- Please, I just need a little more time."

"It's complicated.."

"Thank you, Yachi-san.."

"I'll talk to you later, bye."

Shoyo lowered the device from his ear and let out a long heavy sigh. He looked stressed. Nishinoya slowly faded into the doorway, revealing himself to Shoyo.

"Hey Shoyo, I'm home." The angel spoke softly, trying not to scare the stressed boy.

Shoyo snapped his head towards the voice and sighed. "Oh, hey Noya-san.. How was your walk?" He asked, relaxing his shoulders.

"It was nice," Nishinoya smiled. "Who were you talking to?"

Shoyo froze, "No one, I-I was just making plans."

Nishinoya furrowed his eyebrows, he knew Shoyo was lying. But he decided not to push it.

"Anyway, what are your plans for tonight? Do you want to go to Sakanoshita and get ice cream with me? I'll pay this time!" The angel explained jovally.

"Where did you get money?" Shoyo asked, shocked.

Nishinoya rarely went out into public because he was scared of other people, however when he did go out, it was during the night. And he was always glued to Shoyo's hip.

"It was your pants pocket when I was looking for pants to wear the other day."

Shoyo stared at Nishinoya dumbfounded. "How much did you find?"

"Uhhh I don't know." Nishinoya said reaching into his back pocket and pulled out a handful of coins and crumbled bills.

Shoyo looked at his hand and counted how much he found.

"THERE'S MY 60,000 YEN!"

Nishinoya flinched at Shoyo's sudden outburst. The ginger grabbed the money from Nishinoya's hand and sighed heavily.

"I was looking for this everywhere!"

"O-Oh.. Sorry, Shoyo.." Nishinoya frowned, feeling bad for taking the boy's money without asking.

Shoyo looked at Nishinoya and softly sighed, "It's okay, just please, ask before you take."

The angel nodded as he gazed at the ground, feeling guilty. Shoyo looked at the boy and softened his expression.

"I'm not mad."

Nishinoya's expression didn't change.

"Hey, we can go to get ice cream."

Nishinoya lit up, his eyes sparkling when he looked up at Shoyo. "Really?!"

Shoyo's heart practically melted. Nishinoya was like a puppy. All he wants is food and affection. His eyes were so wide and begging, his lip puckered over his upper one. Shoyo could just drown him in hugs and kisses. But, he forced the feeling down.

"Yeah, but I'll be paying. I don't want people seeing you quite yet."

Nishinoya whined and crossed his arms as he leaned back, pouting. Shoyo laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Maybe another time." He giggled, as he grabbed his house keys before walking to the door, Nishinoya following close behind.

As the two strolled down the sidewalk towards the Sakanoshita store, Shoyo watched as the angel walked on the curb, his arms spread like his wings as he put one foot in front of the other. Shoyo smiled at the angel, soon followed by a sorrowful frown.

"Shoyo." Nishinoya said suddenly, not breaking his gaze from his feet.

Shoyo glanced at him, his head slightly cocked to the side. "Yes, Noya-san?"

"What's it like being human?"

The ginger was shocked by the question. "What do you mean?"

"Exactly how I'm saying it.." Nishinoya said as they came to a stop in front of the store. "I mean, it must be nice. You can go anywhere you want, you can taste delicious food, you have all these places to explore and there is just so much you can do."

Shoyo gave the angel a woeful expression, "It's not that great."

Nishinoya looked up at the boy curiously. "Why? Being human seems so cool."

Shoyo shook his head, "Not as cool as it seems. Sure, from what you told me, being human does give you more opportunities than what heaven does.. But, it's stressful.. I'm not immortal like you are, so I'd die eventually. It comes for all of us. So we fight for our lives every single day. Trying to afford food, shelter, warmth, and find love.. You see, it's not as cool as it seems. Do you know how cool I would be if I had wings and immortality."

"Oh.." Nishinoya whispered, slightly suprised at the boy's unnatural tone. "I guess I haven't been on earth long enough to know.. Sorry for asking, Shoyo.."

"No, it's okay. You were curious." Shoyo lifted his face and smiled at the angel.

"Hey, uh, Shoyo." Nishinoya spoke once again after a moment of silence. "Can I ask you one last question?"

Shoyo nodded.

"Did you ever find the love you were talking about?"

The ginger smiled at the angel, his soft expression covered in dread. "Yeah."

That was the last thing Shoyo said to Nishinoya before he walked into the store.
