I feel bad for Valerie I know I've please pranks on her but this one is too harsh I really don't know why it's affecting me when this isn't the first girl but anyways with time I'll get over it .
"Hey man what's up?" i see Chase coming over to meet me i feel like beating him for what he did but it will show that it's affecting me and they'll start thinking I'm falling for a girl
"I'm good bro" I say turning to my locker trying to ignore his hand shake
"I'm not going for Biology class I feel like going out want to come?" He says bringing out a bottle of beer from his bag I really do but seeing him more often will remind me of what he did to Valerie and I want to forget about it so I'll rather go for biology class
"Nah I'll love to but I have to go for this class for just this once" I lie
"Since when do you care about classes? " he says closing my locker door
" I don'tknow I'm just in the class spirit today"
"Okay bro see you later"
"Yeah sure "
"Lucas by the way this girl Valerie hasn't come to school since really is she that hurt i mean she would have done it with someoneelse in her former school so why is she behaving like they've killed her soul "
"I don't really know man see you later " I saw walking out on him
Valerie's POV
"Valerie Cleo Star come downstairs NOW" Okay what is making mum so angry she has never called my middle name in like ages
"Yes mum" I say smiling brightly at her
"I got a call from your teacher saying you haven't been in school for three weeks straight is that true?"
Okay now I'm busted I usually dress up for school but I don't hold there i would walk to the park and stay there till school hours are over making my mum think that I actually went there but obviously my teacher just had to check on me really parents are very annoying I'm checking on their children and teachers too no option but to say the truth
"Yes mum " I say playing with my fingers
"Why?" She ask looking super angry at me
"Uh "? I ask pretending not to hear the question
"Don't play dumb with me Valerie. Why?"
"Okay fine I'll tell you" I say bursting into tears
"My music teacher conducted a test on clefs and I failed badly so I was ashamed of going back to school" Mum's face soften as if she was touched
"Oh my baby i understand but failing only makes you feel strong you are going to go back to school tomorrow "
"What ?" I say cutting her off
"Yes love it get .........." I wasn't listening to her anymore all i was thinking now was facing the whole school tomorrow I'll wear a hoodie to cover my face. No I'll look dumb well I guess she's right I have to face it once and for all
"Valerie are you still listening to me?"
"Um yes mum" I lie
"Okay mum I'm off to get ready for school " I tell her walking to my room
